Jacobi is an entertainer. Every time they show him, he's doing something berko.

What happened to Jacobi? I'd turned back to my frame jig and TIG for a short while, to see him leaning over the bars of his bike. Did it go Boom, or did he?

I did stop a bead run just in time to see Jed Beaton go arse over tit. Bummer - hope he's not damaged himself.

Ansties an articulate bloke. Well, the vast majority of GP riders are, especially when you take in that many of them aren't speaking in their native language.

How can red bull ktm take almost every holeshot?

What does prado and cairoli do that the others cant do?
Its impressive but you wonder if its the riders or the bikes that make the difference in the start.

Prado has ridiculous technique at the start. His timing with putting the weight on the rear tire as it touches the ground
after rolling over the gate is just perfect every time.

Sure the KTM is fast but it's not only the bike. He beat almost all of the factory 450s at the starts at RedBud

They are in the same Team, they practice together, push each other, and, perhaps they have fully committed to KTMs start system that Herlings really made use of ,last season.

Moreover, they've both been great starters throughout their respective careers.

Bloody Hell, TG down again. It sure as helll looks like a difficult track to navigate, but he's taking a lot of soil samples. At least it's into some soft ground, for the most part.

Knowing how Cairoli always suffered these muddy, unpredictable conditions a lot, he was absolutely killer today.

After the last race in Arco, where i'm sure he wanted to win and was pissed off, with a little crash and few concerns about his knee and a very tough opponent like Gajser, today he came on the track on a mission and pushed TG back again.

I was going to ask: Porn Star or Mafioso?

Just checked : Porn Star.

Classic - they've had a few of them over the years as 'celebrity guests' at MXGP, and MotoGP events.

And, all with the MASSIVE Italian Media demands / workload he has at any GP in Italy. How he keeps focus on the racing, is beyond me

Yeah, the man is surely made for this life, he lives it and enjoys it. After all these years, going through different generations of riders, and no signs of slowing down, at least mentally.

to me it looked ike TG pushed him self back again , multiple times ... how many times did he crash ?

TC is going to cruise to his 10th title , TG needs to stop crashing every GP ...

It was a real strong showing for Jonass. With the field kind of depleted he should run top 5 and battle for podiums for awhile. At least until DeSalle is back on form and Febvre and Herlings come back. And Febvre has shown in the past that he doesn’t bounce back quickly from injuries.

Of course TG did plenty of mistakes by himself, but that's the point, coming in this race it was important to keep an edge for Cairoli.

He did his work, hole-shots and cruised to the overall with two decisive victories, while Gajser had troubles. TG made mistakes, Cairoli didn't, it was an excellent response to the race in Arco.

The 222 may cruise to his 10th title but it's far from easy, Gajser is more than a worthy opponents, and Cairoli needs to stay in full throttle all season, while making few errors as possible.

Whats going with darian sanayei? I though he would be a top rider this season, mx2 is not that stacked this year IMO.

Cairoli is the man. A true warrior and a legend. The dude just gets it done, and he's out there getting it done once again even when he's past his prime. What a badass.

KTM has best starting software for teams. MXGP or AMA their bikes just go after gate. It makes boring races when they always just start front and run away like Formula 1.

Past his prime? He is in his prime right now. Look at how far ahead he was last year of those guys. Now with JH gone, he makes it looks so easy and taking those wins easy to haha!

Yes. In age he is past his prime. But that's what makes him even more remarkable. He is still able to dominate the young riders who are in their prime. He is making up for his age with determination, a lot of work, and the desire to win. If he could be 25 again with all the experience he has, he would be even better. I'm not bad mouthing the guy. I'm pointing out how extra badass he is.

Saying he would have been better as 25 with the experience he has now is pointless, and irrelevant to the question if he´s in his prime right now. You cant both have the cookie and eat it.

I would say yes, yes he is. His present self would win over his 25 year old self.

When you say "In age he is past his prime" I dont agree. While it may not come as easy as it did when he was 25, He is just as fit and physically competent as he was back then. He probably had to work a little extra for it, but thats not the point. He is fit enough to run the entire moto flat out pretty much still so.

Dude you don't get what I'm saying. Of course he's better than when he was 25, but that's because of the extra experience. You are admitting yourself that in age he is past his prime when you say "may not come as easy as it did when he was 25" and that he "has to work a little extra for it". THAT IS MY POINT!! HE IS PAST HIS PRIME AND IT DOESNT COME AS EASY AS IT DID AT 25 AND HE HAS TO WORK HARDER TO BE FIT ENOUGH TO WIN!! THAT IS WHAT BEING PAST YOUR PRIME MEANS. When I say he's past his prime in age, I'm not saying he's not riding as fast or that he isn't as good. I'm just saying that at his age now it requires even more work!! Damn dude. I'm complimenting the guy and you're acting like I'm insulting him because you aren't understanding what I'm saying. Then you say things that verify what I'm saying. Why are you just trying to argue?

Wow dude you need to take a chill pill.

All I did was disagree with you. I still disagree. He is IN his prime. He´s riding better than he ever is and is as fit as he was 10 years ago.

Is his body as "easily trained" now? No
Is his riding better now? Yes.

"In his prime" doesnt exclusively mean physical condition. You are making some wierd "what if´s" to make the statement that he is not as good now as he "could have been" back then. Its pointless.

First i thought Jacobi and Pootjes crashed together since Vialle got up to 3rd in a lap. But Pootjes had a small crash in the turn before the pitboxes (on his own).
Jacobi posted on insta that the clutch was gone and he had a mechanical dnf

Yeah i'm not convinced its just starting technique by the riders. They have all the holeshots. I would think a combo of rider and start setting of the bikes + probably hp as well.
