Did you take it apart and grease it when you got the bike? Grease helps keep the water out also. A necessity on every new bike in my opinion.

I think I broke my pinky toe a fork leg fell out of the clamps before i was ready... u cant make this shit up

I rode this thing on a rougher track today in the mud with bigger jumps. It was freaking awesome as i’ve been saying all along. Performance wise.....this is my #1. There are a few maintenance things that i don’t like but easily forgivable with this level of performance. Great suspension and feel. Totally underrated bike. I don’t see too many at the track.

Don't forget the swingarm pivot shaft, remove it and grease it so it won't get rusty and seize up in the future.

Guys.....be careful with the engine hanger torque spec. I stripped one out while torqing the upper hanger. That aluminum is pretty soft and at 22 ft lbs it didn’t make it out alive.

Both times the #3 bolt tightens on it's own or something. Super hard to take off my impact couldn't do it.

I was helping a friend set up his new 19’ 450 yesterday. I know it’s not broken in but the rear suspension felt like it was basically locked up. So I wanted to back off the comp damping and find out the stock setting is two clicks from full soft. I have to wonder why Kawi couldn’t come up with a spec that has the clickers in the middle of the range stock. That’s crazy.

Anyhow, pretty sure the sag was the issue and he was riding too far into the stroke making it feel super stiff.

I have No luck with the ride engineering link i ordered april 1st.
It shipped like 2 weeks ago but i could not track it, asked ride engineering and they didnt answer. Today its back in LA instead of Sweden. Im so fed up waiting on this thing. Maybe theres a reason the euro dealers dosent sell their stuff.

I used 180 sandpaper to get the old color off, 180 barely scratches this stuff then mothers polish, it's real spotty with color now not sure why but yeah lots elbow grease... Broke my toe Friday when one of the legs fell out of the clamps so had nothing else better to do
