jacob nash passed away today riding a qualifier race at thunder valley here in tennessee today ...was a great kid only 20 is gonna be missed by many!

Wow, I get a lump in my throat every time I hear of another young rider passing away doing what he/she loved.

Jacob's brother Jeremy races the pro class. Jeremy wasn't racing yesterday. We will definitely be praying for his friends and family. Such a hard loss to take. May God grant them peace, comfort and strength in the days ahead.

So did he pass away racing or from another incident? RIP, I hate hearing about anyone dying so young.

He crashed yesterday while racing sustaining massive injuries. Unfortunately resulting in his death. Kevin saw the beginning of the crash but couldn't/didn't see the ending. Things like this make you put everything into perspective. Kevin himself crashed hard on the first lap of the 1st +35 moto and was pretty stove up and almost knocked silly. We were very blessed that he got up and finished out the day. With Jacob's passing it makes me feel guilty on many levels that he wasn't able to walk away from his crash. My heart goes out to the Nash family and thier friends.

It was bad. His dad was trying to get him to wake up and he wasn't breathing. I felt so bad for him and all the Nash family. I had a weird uncomfortable feeling all weekend and rode what was my worst race ever. This sport that is such a part of my life sure is tough sometimes.
