Would be easier if I knew enough people to do a private match lol
IMHO MEC 1 is way too forgiving. It's a lot of fun like an arcade game would be.
However, MEC 2 they really went for realism. We see this when you case stuff and come off the bike, also it is much harder to maintain momentum in rhythm sections as well as quad stuff. You also can't just grab the rear brake and slide it up into the apex of a bowl turn and then gas it out any more among other things.
These improvements make track building much easier as it takes less effort to tame the bike with is ALWAYS the case in every other SX game when building tracks. It also makes the game more challenging and fun. At least for me.
And with that said here is the SPX 2019 SX DENVER hot lap

Biggest recent gripe? Either a cheater line or a bug? You can be leading a race, then all of a sudden a dude is a lap up on you. In a four lap race!

Never played it, but I like the new one (SX2)
Is it worth the special edition for 15?
I know I get to play as Dungey and Roczen in that title. Anything else to write home about?

I've never played SX1, but I have heard also that it is better overall. Is their a career mode in that game as well?
IMO, some aspects of it felt better. But it was more forgiving. The simple fact alone that there's 17 more tracks to ride on could be a reason to buy it if it's on sale. The track editor has less pieces than 2. To each their own, but I was digging SX 1 more than 2. I still love SX 2, just had more fun with 1.
Pit Row
I wish the patches added a bit more. I don't even think Jimmy Weeks is in the game for 250s. He made the main event in Nashville at least.
I wish their were more rewards for doing well. That Monster Energy Cup turn invisible block that Kracken found is delaying my purchase.
I like this game alot.
Still hanging in the middle on SX1 the game for 15 total. (special edition)
I think my biggest thing is that all the games that have come out over the past 15 years, each of them had parts of them that were absolutely awesome. So my thinking is we are now almost in 2020, and nobody is yet to integrate all of the great things into a game. I’ll still buy every game that comes out. I think this game just has no reason for me to replay it. I’ve already seen and ridden all the tracks, it feels stale with it being a year behind. Track deteriorates but has little effect on the rider, I hate that sometimes in rhythm sections you can get random speed boosts, leaning forward off the face of a jump is like a speed boost, clutch doesn’t do much either. I personally feel like with the improvements over last years game, the things I listed make it worse than the last game. No consistency I feel like.
I will stick to my guns and say I don’t think milestone knows how to create a supercross track. So we get 17 replicas, then every other track that comes out is scaled horribly or not realistic or fun. I appreciate their effort, but if they are making a supercross game, they should know how to make a supercross track. I can’t play All Out because I think it’s that horrible, but they know how to build really cool and realistic tracks. If we could get a hybrid of both games I’d probably shut up and never complain again.
Other than the whoops seeming harder to skim, game playable the same.
You can’t control the bike. It’s all over the place. The 450 is about impossible. Oddly the 250f is manageable and much better When I’ve been playing in career mode. However you can’t make it over any triples most the time.
Also the track is so crowded with other bikes unless you get out front you are just banging into them the whole time. It’s so frustrating.
Maybe I just need to learn the game more but if 2 is like 1 then I’m afraid I’ll hate it as well.
I feel like throwing my controller against the wall the bike is so out of control and off the track.
It also lags in traffic and freezes for a tad second.
250s in sx 2 are still pretty fun even after mastering the 450s. 250s in sx2 cAn actually jump further more easy than 450... 250s shred in sx2 tho
Semi-annual releases (MES & MXGP) is nothing more than greed
Rainbow is doing it right, pure marketing geniuses.
