I’m just gonna say it. It pisses me off that a European company is making a supercross video game. They don’t understand the sport at all. Day time heat races, all the tracks they create that aren’t replicas are not even close to supercross tracks, why the hell do they have these foreign gear and parts companies in here? I just wish an American company would step up and do something.

Honestly, I played the game for two weeks and haven’t touched it since. I saw the LA Colosseum release but that track looks horrible. No gear updates or releases either. And honestly I have zero desire to pick this game up again. Very little new track editor pieces, shitty berms, stadium sizes are all wrong, I don’t even have any desire to make a track anymore. Plus the physics I feel are much worse that sx1. I hate the air physics, you hit a jump then all of a sudden you just drop straight down.

It just drives me nuts that we have a game that looks as good as this does, but underneath it’s just a turd. And mx vs atv still sucks too. There are so many amazing video games out there, but for motocross people they are all complete ass.

Couldn’t milestone hire at least one or two Americans that are good at building tracks to help with the game? Or instead of completely remaking the game each year, release the same game, with a few tweaks, and updated tracks and riders/gear? That way we don’t have to wait until the next season starts to have a game about the previous season. Instead of reinventing the wheel which takes months alone, just work on the tracks and skins, and they could be released by monster cup of the same year!

I miss MX vs ATV Unleashed for PC. Why did everyone quit playing that? That track editor was amazing. I could play that game for hours and hours.
I think Supercross 2 is spot on physics/gameplay wise. Is it too tough for you? Is that the issue? I feel like this is the realest I've ever played for sure. Bikes are heavy, and this game shows that. You have to carry momentum. I feel like it was too steep of a learning curve so you shat on everything lol I can rail a berm in this game or cover the inside/outside just like a real life race. I can't see how people don't like it.. I think you need to spend more than 2 weeks and turn on pro physics and actually learn how to control the bike in-game. It's a learning curve for sure and I could see how people would hate it since it's not super easy right out of the box. Sometimes slower is faster especially on 250s.

All you guys do is bitch, bitch, bitch, and more bitching about a series that we're LUCKY to have. The game is fucking great. I love everything about it. Is it perfect? absolutely not. But they are the ONLY ones making a game worth playing, and a DAMN good game too. There are minor bugs, but i can get over them.

I just find it completely hilarious to not even HAVE a supercross or motocross game worth playing, then a company decides put one out, that's well made, and has improved with each release..... and you're going to bitch and complain???? God thats funny.

Its like being out in the desert dying of dehydration, and someone hands you filtered tap water and you say "ahhh fuck that man this stuff sucks! I want filtered spring water!!!"

We definitely have other games worth playing and have had them in the past. All Out is pretty good when you get the hang of it. MXGP 2 and 3 were great. Reflex was amazing. You live under a rock man?

I love having a new game every year to play, but if they continually get worse, that's not going to be fun is it? You're one of those people that say "at least we have the races on TV! I used to read the results on cycle news 3 months later!"

But really if you think mesx 1 was better you’re fooling yourself

Keeping trying jrod it should work after 5 tries lol

IMHO MEC 1 is way too forgiving. It's a lot of fun like an arcade game would be.

However, MEC 2 they really went for realism. We see this when you case stuff and come off the bike, also it is much harder to maintain momentum in rhythm sections as well as quad stuff. You also can't just grab the rear brake and slide it up into the apex of a bowl turn and then gas it out any more among other things.

These improvements make track building much easier as it takes less effort to tame the bike with is ALWAYS the case in every other SX game when building tracks. It also makes the game more challenging and fun. At least for me.

And with that said here is the SPX 2019 SX DENVER hot lap

What’s your gamer tag, I have a list of about 15 guys on my friends list and just join their game, so usually don’t use quick match. Drop your gamer tag and I’ll add you

The game has grown on me.

Biggest recent gripe? Either a cheater line or a bug? You can be leading a race, then all of a sudden a dude is a lap up on you. In a four lap race!

It is a bug - think it has been mentioned someplace in an earlier page.

The 1st ME SX game is on sale on PSN.

Never played it, but I like the new one (SX2)

Is it worth the special edition for 15?

I know I get to play as Dungey and Roczen in that title. Anything else to write home about?

Do you already have SX2? If yes, then I'm not sure how much of a value it would be to pick up. Some people like it better but I think SX2 was an improvement in bike handling. SX1 seems more forgiving. It does have Dungey and Roczen though so if you want to play as them get it.

I do have SX2. Without any DLC though. As I want that stupid invisible block to get fixed before I might buy the season pass. Just holding off.

I've never played SX1, but I have heard also that it is better overall. Is their a career mode in that game as well?

Yes, it is almost exactly the same without the training portion of the career mode.

SX 1 has a different feel than 2. Anyone that says it's a copy and paste hasn't played either game enough.

IMO, some aspects of it felt better. But it was more forgiving. The simple fact alone that there's 17 more tracks to ride on could be a reason to buy it if it's on sale. The track editor has less pieces than 2. To each their own, but I was digging SX 1 more than 2. I still love SX 2, just had more fun with 1.

Cool they are still caring about the game.

I wish the patches added a bit more. I don't even think Jimmy Weeks is in the game for 250s. He made the main event in Nashville at least.

I wish their were more rewards for doing well. That Monster Energy Cup turn invisible block that Kracken found is delaying my purchase.

I like this game alot.

Still hanging in the middle on SX1 the game for 15 total. (special edition)

I got a lot of thumbs down on my comment, dang! No, I’m not a god at the game but i’m pretty good. Hardest difficulty, the only assist I have on is dual brakes cause I’m not a fan of having to use both. But manual shifting, etc. tuned the bike, all that and I win probably 85% of the time. I’m bad in the mud though lol.

I think my biggest thing is that all the games that have come out over the past 15 years, each of them had parts of them that were absolutely awesome. So my thinking is we are now almost in 2020, and nobody is yet to integrate all of the great things into a game. I’ll still buy every game that comes out. I think this game just has no reason for me to replay it. I’ve already seen and ridden all the tracks, it feels stale with it being a year behind. Track deteriorates but has little effect on the rider, I hate that sometimes in rhythm sections you can get random speed boosts, leaning forward off the face of a jump is like a speed boost, clutch doesn’t do much either. I personally feel like with the improvements over last years game, the things I listed make it worse than the last game. No consistency I feel like.

I will stick to my guns and say I don’t think milestone knows how to create a supercross track. So we get 17 replicas, then every other track that comes out is scaled horribly or not realistic or fun. I appreciate their effort, but if they are making a supercross game, they should know how to make a supercross track. I can’t play All Out because I think it’s that horrible, but they know how to build really cool and realistic tracks. If we could get a hybrid of both games I’d probably shut up and never complain again. Tongue

Whoops seem harder to skim? Which is cool. Not sure if the final inside corner on MEC is fixed or not @hoosier mad. The kawi 450 rev limiter sounds off now ? like an added empty noise added to the audio file for panic revving. The husky audio file got all messed up in the last update, starting to think when they update the game their forgetting to take out a piece of code or some shit.
Other than the whoops seeming harder to skim, game playable the same.

I just started playing monster energy sx one and it’s awful. The physics are just terrible.

You can’t control the bike. It’s all over the place. The 450 is about impossible. Oddly the 250f is manageable and much better When I’ve been playing in career mode. However you can’t make it over any triples most the time.

Also the track is so crowded with other bikes unless you get out front you are just banging into them the whole time. It’s so frustrating.

Maybe I just need to learn the game more but if 2 is like 1 then I’m afraid I’ll hate it as well.
I feel like throwing my controller against the wall the bike is so out of control and off the track.

It also lags in traffic and freezes for a tad second.

Man, everyone likes the 250fs until they get good. I’ve gone thru a similar pattern since gppro and sx1. I will say, once you learn to how to play the 450 is more fun. Sx1 feels wonky as hell sx2 feels more planted, but is also harder, so there’s that.
250s in sx 2 are still pretty fun even after mastering the 450s. 250s in sx2 cAn actually jump further more easy than 450... 250s shred in sx2 tho

Good to know. I’m just going to keep at it and figure it out and get the muscle memory thing down and reevaluate. I just can’t believe how different the 250 vs 450 corners and handles. It’s so drastically different.

As far as trying hard to push out a new game every year - you have to remember that it is probably the license agreement with Feld that requires this. Feld would not want to sit around for two years for licensed game to come missing the hype of each season for sales. If Milestone didn't do it, then some other developer would. It is the same with almost all sports related games.

I would much prefer major releases spread out over years and have downloadable content for new seasons and tracks regularly, but I just don't think that is going to happen.
Replace Feld with milestone shareholders and you’d be correct. Feld gets no piece of the revenue, he made his money the day he licensed the game.

Semi-annual releases (MES & MXGP) is nothing more than greed

Rainbow is doing it right, pure marketing geniuses.
