Fantastic story and have run across a few guys like this over the years and honestly know someone very much like him except he actually wears all of his protective equipment and is not on disability. He is actually a slum lord with dozens of section 8 rental properties and loves strippers (most times has one at the track with him or did at one point) the dude is a kick in the ass.

However, In my own little pity party these stories are bitter sweet to me. These types don’t follow the standards or rules and continiously “escape” injuries, danger, riding drunk, high, the law, etc etc and here I do, and did everything right, protective gear, ride sober, follow the rules, work on speed, technique, somewhat train, etc. etc. Make one little minor mistake and jack my ankle up forever, never to be able to ride at the level that I did on the day of the accident. I know mine is miniscule in comparison to some and am tankful that I can atleast still ride but always wonder how some “escape” and some don’t...

Ride on!!!!

I used to have a buddy like TBS, ended up doing time for getting caught repeatedly "shredding" the Appalachian trail. Martin was a character among characters.

TBS sounds like the "Bill Bratzki" of offroad. Great story and well written.

I would want TBS in my corner if a bar fight breaks out.

Absolutely, Ledge. TBS would pick up a pool cue and beat the ones that didn't scurry away like red-headed step children.

Great story, I thorougly enjoyed it. I have a similar story about a guy me and my friend met named "Lick" while riding dual sports.

TBS=Peelout...? (:

I have driven past that bar many times heading to Prescott. Never thought much about it before, but now I will get a little laugh whenever I see it.

Great story, thanks for sharing.
