Why don’t we have tracks like this now. They should do a few replicas every year. Only 1 or 2 125’s even jumped the 85 foot quad and the whoops were HUGE! McGrath just blitzes right across the tops. All the landings to the jumps are peaked and there is no room for error.

It seems like they made the tracks more and more like the factory practice tracks for whatever reason. There used to be more weird rhythm section obsticles that would spice it up. Like a2 2001 for example. There was 3 step on step offs in a row and a big drop at the end of it that you had to downside. Along with another crazy rhythm section later on in the track.
On the flip side it is good to try and make the tracks more safe but it takes away when the rhythm sections and whoops are the exact same every weekend.
Throw a table top in the middle of the whoop section. Make a back to back to back dragons back whoop pad. For god's sake expiriment with the design.
Here is the 125 main and Semi’s etc
Pretty sure that's the most air I've seen someone catch during and SX race besides maybe stew when he launched the wall jump at Daytona.
Alright I'm done
We see that same stuff every weekend changed up by corners.
Pit Row
I was at that race. The riders heads were almost as high as the 2nd level seating area (club) when they hit that quad. It was gnar..
I seriously think that, lack of track creativity is due to the lack of dirt.. and some higher up person wanting "standards" for each round without change to the bottom line.
awesome track, MC made those whoops look like a child's obstacle
Two-strokes also punished errors so much more. 125's were all peaky power anyway, so how they ride SX tracks compared to 250F's is literally incomparable. Mess up one little thing, guess what, you aren't clearing the next obstacle. Miss a shift, clutch it out wrong, wheel spin, mess up timing, whatever.
Saw this live at RBSR this year, mistakes were made, and had consequences... and that track was just a straight line!
250F's and 450F's let you get away with mistakes with barely any penalty.
Man, what a shame.
