Sorry if already somewhere on the interweb. I would like a 300Cc 2-stroke, or 350 4-stroke motor. I want a suzuki chassis. Yamaha SSs fork. Full-floater rear end! KTM brakes. Honda ergos and seat. 200lbs. Electric start. $6500 bucks. Will I have any luck?? What you like?

I'll take my massaged 02 cr250 motor over any other two stroke 250. Less low? Sure. But the sucker never does sign off and the hit in the middle? Its epic. My buddy's don't understand how I can outdrag their 450s. Lol

1982 KTM 495 motor in a late model chassis. That would be good stuff.

In the pit bike world, frankenbikes rule! I have a klx140 with a kx100 fork conversion. Hopped up xr100 engines bolted into crf150r chassis are becoming popular too. But for motocross, I'd say that 500 two stroke-aluminum chassis conversions rule!

In the early 90’s, Chad Pederson rode an RM250 with a CR500 engine wedged in it.

Middle hit was potent . Now that I’m older I’m ok with the nice linear pull all the way through with the yz. Less surprising off jumps. I miss the feel of the Cr but I’m close with the bars moved forward opening up the yz cockpit

I always thought a YZ250 two stroke engine in a 10-13 YZ250F chassis would be a awesome bike. I rode a 13 250F and thought that was the best handeling bike I’ve ever rode

Dag Boyeson had one as well. MCR did one up for a racer here in Michigan.

Yep. Had a modified 04 YZ250 done by PC & it didn't come close to an 03 CR2 with PC mods as well. Similar low end grunt, but the mid-top was no comparison.
