Windham once told me, there’s several guys who have the legs to go 20 laps in SX, but outdoors is a whole different story..

If that’s the case, and Hill’s weakness is his fitness, he’s screwed this summer.

I’m all in on this. Think about. Those contracts are heavily incentivized. Plus ... no outdoors. It seems like a match made for Hill. Wanna get paid ? Go fast.

Top 5 would be a huge step. Let’s get a top 5
Then move onto the next weekend
This is how you do it.

I'm sure JGR will come out with a PR saying he has an injury and will be sitting out this summer

Factory or smarttop. He needs a better bike. We know the Suzuki is outdated.

He is too young and talented not to find anything next year, but not too young and talented to survive a second one like this. ...And...

Someone will pick him up because they can work with speed. It took him time to get that title as well. He can survive another one like this if he is hurt . When the leaders passed him he looked so slow like a privateer back marker. It was sad but I'm hopeful it works out.

Antunez, Rarick, Rmz450, Epstein Barr, injury, GF, JGR, Hill himself

One need to blame one of those for his results. I'm going with Epstein Barr because you can't debate that one.

I just don’t understand his drive or where his heads at...at my age I see opportunities that have slipped past me and he has opportunity and potential that most people who have ridden or ride will never have. So to watch him let it slip past is a punch in the gut .... hopefully he turns it around.

It's pretty sad. Unless he was injured No reason he couldn't of tucked in with reed and worked his way up. They were 21st and 22nd on first lap.

Why does this surprise anybody about Justin Hill ? He has pretty much slacked it his whole career after winning the West title. His brother was the same and they both would rather free ride then race. Dude has the talent but not the work ethic to make it work.

His whole career since that title has been less than two years. One on the 250 and now his rookie year on the 450. There was so much hype for this year after his Tampa ride in 2018 though. It's a shame we haven't seen any of that this season.

He landed on Bowers and ate shit. Got up slowly looked like he got the wind knocked out of him very surprised to see him get up and race forward. They never showed it. I was in the stands watching him when it happened first lap after about at 12 to 14th place start. Either he sucks at starts or lacks the confidence to get a start and doesn’t want to get up front. His talent is undeniable his desire is questionable

Any idea what happened for Reed to drop back to last place? I dont think they mentioned it or showed it on the broadcast. If so i missed it.

I was watching Hill but I think Reed either fell or stalled out first lap. The both were in last and next to last Reed went to work and Justin did too but Justin took a shot When anybody hits the Bear they fall or go flying and the Bear just keep trucking he’s 200lbs vs. a bunch of size 28 pants wearing jockey type guys

Hill reminds me of Hansen, all the talent in the world.....unfortunately talent alone don't cut it.

There are a whole bunch of rider turning Pro after Lorettas and guys moving up for next year. Hill can't take anything for granted and needs results.

JGR needs to bring out the Cheque book again and sign someone like Adam. They need a potential winner. Hill aint the guy and neither is Chad...but Chad is a legend and I'd sign him any day.

I love everyone bagging on Hill's fitness. You don't have garbage fitness and put in a ride like that at Daytona. I don't think there is a lack of focus, its a lack of being able to put the pieces together. He'll get there, he's got he talent. What I really don't understand how Plessinger gets a pass for an underwhelming season, but everyone hates on Justin. If he wasn't Josh's brother no one would be questioning drive and fitness.

Reed crashed or went off the track in the same spot
before the triple as Hill. I didn’t see exactly what happened just saw Reed on the side of the track.

Plessinger has been underwhelming, but he has had five top 10 finishes and one top 5. His average finishing position is inside the top 10. Daytona was Hill's lone top 10.

Plessinger currently sits 27 points ahead of Hill after crashing out of Daytona and missing Indy.
