I think your prices are wrong or maybe you don’t do the volume if this place. Like I said the actual sale price of the bike was 6700-6900 I forget exactly. They sell them at this 7249 price literally every day. It’s impossible they are losing money on them, impossible.
It has nothing to do with volume other than the dealer might get a little bump in their program money. Dealer A pays the same amount per bike from the manufacturer as dealer B. And I am going to assume they're a large volume dealer if they're blatantly violating MAP policy advertising that price all over the internet. Manufacturers rarely take action against violators if they're a large volume dealer.

Like I said, I really want to see a BOS so I can see how they structured that deal. On the surface it just looks like they lost their ass and I know that cannot be the case.

I'm with 40acres, I just don't understand how some dealers are a whole 1000 otd under compared to another dealer. I bought mine last week for 8200 and I was told by 2 dealers that a rebate hit beginning march 1st. So if this massive deal is happening now then it should have happened last week too. I had my dealer 5 minutes from my work sell me at 8200. I gave the dealer 45 mins away from me a shot at 8100 to get my business and he said he literally could not go under 8200. If the price is dramatically dropping then I'm sure he would have done 8100 or better to get the sale.

I stand corrected, I looked at a new rebate sheet and it's now $500. That rebate was not there on March 1st by the way. But even then, those prices are still crazy low.

I forgot, I ended up paying 74 and change because something came up and I had to use a credit card temporarily. If I had cash like I planned on having it would’ve been 7249

You didn't pay taxes? The subtotal is cut off. I'm assuming the 380 was freight and the 95 was prep? Looks like a dead even deal. Jesus Christ that's got to be brutal selling bikes like that Laughing

That’s the bottom of the BOS

Here in my part of NY, they are going for $6999.99 plus $195 freight, $65 prep and 8% tax = $7841. Then after that there is a $5 tire fee and $25 dmv fee. That bring the total to $7871 otd.

Now if I went out of state to Vermont, they are asking $7551 otd to out of state residents.... with that being said, the salesman told me the bike was $6999.99 and the res of the cost is fee's. When i called the out of state dealer, I expected the price to be more around $7300.

That is insane, lol. But good on the deal. What taxes are you going to have to pay when you title it in New Jersey? I'm assuming you will have to pay the sales tax in new jersey when you register it.

I just picked up a 19 kx 450 as well. I live in WI. I paid 6,900 plus tax. No fees. Also got a free decal works kit of my choice built and they paid for it. Even when i picked it up i asked to buy a jug of engine ice. He gave it to me and said don't worry about it. I almost feel bad that is was too good of a deal lol

NJ doesn’t title dirt bikes, I’ll never have to pay tax on the bike. Our laws are weird here, if I bring them my CO they will tell me to turn around and walk out. There’s literally nothing I can do with it in this shit hole state. They only titles they issue are for road going vehicles.

I know some people had issues with the rear brake dragging like I did. So far I fixed it, riding tomorrow so I'll know for sure. First thing was rear brake pin had grooves in it already so replaced that. But it still was dragging until I installed core stainless brake lines. Guessing the oem lines were expanding causing some excess pressure or something.

Ive been watching Babbits website for their hot deals. They got some good prices on leftover Honda's and KTM's. I use Babbits as a price guide as it seems their prices drop before our prices in NY. Babbits is always $200-$300 less than us. Dont know what they charge in few's.

Last week, added 2018 rear brake carrier and 2018 Braking rotor. In my opinion, much better rear brake feel. Bonus, I think it looks better.

On a side note, wish TM would have built a little more slack into thier sliders, did the whole job in one swoop including new rear wheel and chain etc. Took a while to figure out why my rear wheel would barely turn! After 2 rides and 2.5 hours, finally ate into the rear chain block enough to turn smoothly. This is with stock sized sprockets.

Great I just ordered one... I have a 51 tooth I guess it’s going to probably not fit.

Do the previous gen rear brake rotors bolt up to the 19 rear hub? I know the carrier and rotor size is different, I’m just wondering if the bolt pattern is the same. Thanks.
