difference between 14 and 18 350? Worth spending money for?

I have a 2014 ktm 350. I really like it, but i wish it had just a little more bottom end and grunt. I have the chance to get a '18 husky 350 for a really good price. Aside from the forks, is there really much difference between to two? Is the newer motor very similar or has it really progressed since 2014? Thank you

For more bottom end take the 18 450, really friendly bike. Like it more than the 350.
The 18 is worth the money, the new chassis is really better!

Yes 100% the 2018 is a better bike in all categories. Engine, chasis, suspension.

My vote is a yes. I think the motor is supposed to be at least 1-2 hp stronger everywhere, and the chassis is improved

keep the forks from your 2014, best value WP forks on the market.

I know people are paranoid about 450s but unless you weight under 180 then just bump up, dude. They are not harsh bikes. Especially the KTM and Husky. Very smooth and linear, you don't have to work as hard to go fast, you can hold a gear longer through and out of a corner and you'll be way easier on the motor. Weight would be the only real drawback but that's not an issue with the Euro bikes.

Two my $0.02 before you sell one bike to replace it with essentially the same thing.

I haven't ridden a new 350 so I can't comment there.

Get a 450 if you aren't a lightweight. Come to the dark side.

Keep the closed catridge fork from the 14 for the 18. Everything but the fork is way better on the newer bike.

The 19 is worth it, but the 17-18 is not.

Agreed on the forks. Have a set of WP CC forks from a 2013 450SXF on my '17 TC250. Great upgrade.

The newer chassis is better than the older chassis, but hard to say how much better.

What kind of riding?

Not even in the same league. Not even close. And the air fork is better than your CC fork.

Not many mentions of the large difference in weight. I love my 17 fc350. I rode a 14 350sxf and was not thrilled. I would say yes emphatically

Just actually bought a leftover 2018 KTM 350sxf this weekend. Pretty excited about it. Finally stepping off of the 450, and looking forward to something different!
