well coop has already won 5 out of 9.... and hes definitely got more in him.

It’s so frustrating watching Tomac race this season. He’s struggling so bad and I agree with OP, I don’t see him winning the championship this year. Kenny or Marvin will have it before Eli does.

This is just Tomac. He will be well below his best for no apparent reason numerous times a season. He'll also be the fastest guy by a mile numerous times a season. I don't see him winning a SX title, it's the same thing over and over again. Maybe he'll figure it out at some point, but we're talking multiple years now where he hasn't really shown any signs of doing it

I usually find blaming the bike to be ridiculous but Tomac was losing the rear every time he opened the throttle last night. Something was definitely wrong there.

I too wonder if the 19 bike is not as in agreement for Eli as the 18 was; also remember he did get hurt just before the season started, with little mention of it. Could his back be holding him... back?

I love the injury thing. Top secret injury in the off season. All kinds of rumors about it but no one will confirm. Eli struggles begging of season. Finally gets a win and then comes out and says he injured his back, confirming the rumors, and that he's back to 100%. All fans are like, awesome Eli is back! Now he's back to his inconsistent ways and it's back to the injury excuse...

There's nothing wrong with Eli other than his starts. He's still the fastest guy. It's easy to see. He came from outside the top 10 to fifth last night. It was a fine ride, but not going to cut it when your competition starts in the top 3 every week.
