Sorry I didn’t realize this thread was about everybody but Reed
You brought up his results. Which were better than 19 of his 21 opponents.

How is that a hard comcept to grasp? Outside of Webb and Tomac, who exactly was better than Reed?

This thread is about Reed’s results. I merely posted his finishing results in each of the three main events. Maybe you are imputing some criticism on my part against him? I haven’t authored a single negative post about him in this or any other thread because I have a lot of respect for the guy. 132 podium finishes don’t just happen

I am and have always been a fan of Chad Reed but, getting a podium on the night with a score of 15 points is a joke. Triple crown sucks.
It shows the field is so close that unless your ET or Webb its very very difficult to move forward once your sitting around 6th or worse. Those top 12 guys know how to cover their lines and as Reed mentioned in his press conference it’s hard to find your own rhythm and race your own race when your stuck in traffic unless your those top 4 guys. You cannot take away from him he was on fire the first main and held no one up, in fact he blew past Baggett .. and he still rode great 2nd an 3rd motos

I think he will finish the year in the top 5.

Chad is very good at getting through the first corner, usually he can turn a mediocre start into a good position by the second corner.
Malcolm Stewart is good at this as well, they just seem to weave through

You can say what you want, but Chad Reed is just a pure legend to still get a podium. Before the season started I thought Hill would have one before the mid of the season and Reed have a top 5 max. He proved me wrong and it was cool to see him do good.

Chad took a bunch of kids to school Saturday night. He evidently made a comment about it feeling like he was riding in the "vet class" when he and Brayton were out front in that first race Smile

This guy is simply incredible, what more can you say? Old man still has it, I am beyond stoked for his podium finish and sincerely hope it is not the last one.
CONGRATS REEDY.
