Several years ago a kid from my area made it to Loretta's in one of the 80cc class with one bike. He doesn't come from a wealthy family. Him and his dad drove some 14-15 hours to get there in a van and slept in a tent the entire week.
I can't remember where he finished at Loretta's but the sacrifices they made paid off in the end as he's now making a living riding for one of the teams up here in Canada.
Not to burst your bubble, but you would be in the 1% if you have not been racing, and think 1 year of training is going to get you ready for the C class at lorettas. These kids are hauling.
why are you hating on his dreams and where he wants to go, at least this guy isn't as a washed up dick as you
every post form you is you are not good enough. Daddy problems?
If SX Futures is nearby, do it for fun, but don't travel long distances to race them. Does anyone really care who won SX Futures in 250 C? Factory Team Green rides aren't going to be handed out from a win over Joe Motocross at the Detroit SX Futures main in 250 C (sorry to all the C riders out there).
Pit Row
He would have a Half track lead and on the Last lap
He would pull off to the Side of the track and purposely finish last, he did that 8 to 10 times , and i didn't know why at the time and i asked , and people said He is going to Loretta Lynns and wants to race C not B..
So i dont know what if anything can be done but i would say
Its It's something that the powers that be in the sport
Need to think about.
Even in the C Class
And in the C class there are a lot of guys that could be B if they wanted too unfortunately.
even if this post is bs I know a few guys that rode 1 bike. raced LL etc. they take some spare parts and common sense stuff.
I always thought it would be fun to get smoked by old pros lol I don't know why people cry about them.
If you want something, go for it.
Don't make it? Try again next and continue training/riding. Go for either.
to build a good practice track to get ready for Loretta you'll need a mid sized wheel loader and a dozer, strip with the dozer then move dirt with the loader and build up with the dozer.
I have been in construction my whole life no way you move that many yards with a 3yrd bucket.
just trying to help, and if you rent go through sunbelt.
You can pursue an education and run qualifiers. And race regionals. You’re still gonna get a hell of a competitive racing experience at regionals even if you don’t make the show. Just race every race hard for every position even if it’s 35th! If you got the means to do it. Do it now before your life gets going with marriage, jobs, kids etc.
