If he's ok, I wonder why he didn't get back on and salvage some points? Was the crash caused by a broken bike?

He must have felt something go pop not to jump back on his bike and go for it again, to just walk away and lean on the side he knew something was not right.

According to JT$ on the Pulp Fantasy podcast this week, Blake already had a bit of a back problem that he was dealing with. I'm sure that hit did not help him. Nor did help my fantasy team disaster.

Looked like he whaled his nuts to me.
That's what I was thinking too, but if JT$ is correct (hammncheez's post), a back injury, plus pile driving his nuts is definitely a good reason to call it a night.

If you look at the replay the rear fender and entire seat were ripped off the bike. He was done regardless of his injury.

No, I wouldn't. But a couple guys that go by "RC" and "JS7" did it many times. You know...those guys with undefeated seasons, lots of wins and championships and who will probably go down in history as the most remarkable riders ever.

Would "RC" and "JS7" go back on their bike with the seat at a 90 degree angle?

It looked like he ripped the seat and fender off that KTM
(not as fashionable as when Bogle did it tho)

But he didn't know that - he never even glanced at the bike after the wreck.

I remember watching Stewart crash a Daytona on the YZ450. Seat was still on, fender sticking straight up and he tried to get back on and fell over. Then he did get back on and go. That kind of counts, right?
All kidding aside, we don't know how Baggett was feeling. He is a champion already, if he didn't get back on, he had good reason. I just hope he is ok and can race next weekend.

4th pinned into a bunch of tyres then get run over and still finish the race with a twisted front end.

Are you douchebags serious?

You want to question his toughness? Bet you would have jumped back on no problem. Caught back up to Webb even.

Baggett will be good. The man was having a great season until Sat nights off. He will regroup.

It's fair to say all these top dudes are going to have a bad night or two and I'm convinced there is a good damn chance this championship will go to Vegas.

You spelled ridiculous wrong.
Also hatred, forum, and a few others I'm sure.
Your grammar, punctuation and capitalization makes it look as if you didn't go to school, ever.

It's like standing up in front of congress to make a big important point, and pissing your pants instead.

Yeah, he's definitely soft. Isn't he the same dude that had a torn ligament in his thumb, taped it to the bars and went for it during the moto season a couple years ago? Gtfo

The back injury stuff (injured at A1) is accurate, but he's been feeling better.

i posted on an internet forum with wrong punctuation, i get it, but i really dont give a shit im just here to try and clear up that the moto industry needs to pull together socially.

as far as pissing my pants, i dont know abput that analogy i got my point across, but the only thing you caught qas the grammar, i have had a few concussions from this sport so maybe thats messed with me? lol can i use that as my excuse

I thought Blake landed on his shoulder. He looked like he tried to tuck. Hope he's okay for Saturday.

Hoping that Blake is 100% for Daytona.

From the team...

After catching his breath, Blake would get up with only minor bruises and ride back to the pits on his own power ending his night.

“I had the speed to win tonight,” said Baggett. “It was unfortunate I made a mistake that ended my night, as I felt I had a good chance at the win. The good news after my crash is I’m leaving here healthy, so we’ll regroup and be ready to battle for the win next weekend at Arlington.”
