Can someone make a gif of that guy sending it off the berm. Would be really useful to have around here.

Any word on Lane Shaw's condition after getting run over 2 1/2 times? I saw he eventually continued the race and put down some decent laptimes, but he has to be hurting after that.

I had some family in town so we happened to be out at a bar that had the Supercross on, you could tell the non SX/MX folks were actually more interested in the 250lcq action then they were the Main Events!

I was rooting for my boy Fast Lane Shaw. He was doing so good in the Heat and LCQ. Bummed for him.
That was a complete idiot move for him to do. He was in qualifying position!

I had some friends over to watch the race and was saying how great the youngsters are that race the LCQ. Traditionally they are all brawn and no smarts. What they lack in ability they make up for in effort three fold.

That was one of the best heat races of the year and it will be remembered for a long time.

And you get to see none of it in Triple Crown races.

I ran my older brother over in a race before. Popped a wheelie and smoked him.

My brother came off all pissed and throwing a tantrum - and my dads thought? “Well, he shouldn’t have crashed”

The pseudo SX barstool crowd went apeshit during the 250 LCQ. Thankfully they were onto darts and billiards by the time the mains came around. Nothing worse than a drunk 21 yo kid calling you "bro" and boring you with tbe stories of how he "used to race".

I bet that Shaw guy is going to have some welts running up his body. That first guy pretty much ran up the full length of him. The second guy looked like he got him pretty good as well.
That was Marshal Weltin, the first guy on the KTM with black/yellow FXR gear who rode over the guy. Looked like he could have avoided that

I ran over my now best mate in Junior 125's (14yrs), I still have it on video.

It was really muddy and we had to roll a single into a right, he just dropped in front of me.
My front wheel went over no worries but he was now between both my wheels, it all happened really slow.Whistling I assessed the situation for a second, popped the clutch, and was on my way to salvage points in a club championship.Laughing Blush Laughing

He still says, "It fucken hurt".Laughing

I ran over a guys torso once when I was about 16 or 17. It happened so fast there was nothing I could do. I felt terrible, and wanted to go find him afterwards and appologize but didnt. I myself have been ran over before too, luckily it was just my legs so it wasnt too bad.

I was run over at the end of the tower straight at Southwick back in '86. I crashed directly in front of the other guy and I dont think he even had the chance to reach for the brake. Amazingly, he stopped to check on me, he said he thought he killed me. When I got up I immediately collapsed at his feet brcause every bit of air left my lungs when he ran over my chest. While I was gasping for air, he was absolutely freaking out frantically waving for medics. Never saw him at the races much after that it freaked him out so bad.
