Here’s that pesky PR...

PRESS INFORMATION, 01/02/19

ROCKSTAR ENERGY HUSQVARNA FACTORY RACING’S ZACH OSBORNE INJURED

During a routine practice day, Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Factory Racing’s, Zach Osborne, sustained an injury to his collarbone. The injury requires surgery, which will take place tomorrow and has a four to six week recovery time. Only a few days away from the opening round of AMA Supercross, Osborne was due to make is 450SX class debut aboard the FC 450 Rockstar Edition.

Zach Osborne: “I am extremely bummed at the timing of this injury. I feel that I have reached a level of riding that I never had in my career, on a bike that I’m so very comfortable with. I know that everything happens for a reason and I’ll be back as soon as possible!”

We wish Zach a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the bike to finish out the remainder of the season.

I was so hoping this wasn't going to be real. Sucks! I was hoping he'd be in a title run position. He'll have an opportunity to be a title upset later in the season though.

Heal up Zach!

Zach should sit out supercross and start prepping for outdoors. Then be ready to kick some a$$ in ASSEN.

Surgery suggests a compound fracture or something more than a simple collarbone injury. Heal up fast ZO.

Don't understand why they make such a big deal about letting people know what's going on.

So why no Deano in the same PR? We know they’re not gonna let that A kit suspension and factory motor just sit there for 6 weeks.

I don't buy the PR statement. I heard from a good source who heard from a good source that he is out for the year.

Wasn't Catanzaro the one who said he doesnt see how ZO style would workout on the 450 and that it could bite him at some point? I could be wrong... Either way, bummer for Zach, but the show must go on, cant wait for A1!

Anyone that bad mouthed Boomslang should be forced to pick Jerry Robin for their Fantasy team for A1.

It's still substantial time at minimum. 4-6 weeks leaves him out of the races for 7-8 weeks usually at the least. You're at half season mark by then. Might as well be the full sx season at that point...
