First show will be available Friday, December 21st with Roger DeCoster onb iTunes, Stitcher, Spotify and at www.thewhiskeythrottleshow.com.
The first live show open to the public is January 4th, which is the Friday night before the Anaheim opener. The live show is $20 per ticket and every cent of that goes to Road2Recovery... making it tax-deductible. The TLD Saloon will be open for a couple hours before the show [So is the Troy Lee Designs Showroom... if you've never seen it, you should] and 805 beer is on the house once you're in the door. We will have music, ping-pong and corn hole while moto legends like Troy Lee and Ricky Johnson cruise around and mingle. It's going to be a good time and unlike anything this sport has ever seen. And you can stamp the shit out of that. Wink

go to www.road2recovery.com to buy tickets

Just listened to the first show. Best interview of Roger I've heard, Ping and Grant are seemingly in the groove already and don't have the first show jitters. Between all the Matthes stuff, the Vital pod and this, there's just a ton of great moto related listening available right now.

Im halfway through, its good and well ran, audio sounds good. Really cool to here about how racing was back then. I subscribed, add it to my library or podcasts. Cool to relate to Ping on the fire service side of things. Happy Listening. Cheers.

Very interesting part about the troubles Wyatt Seals was having and how it affected MC during the Suzuki days. First time Roger ever publicly spoke of it.

Great podcast, boys.

Roger D is a good interview. I’m curious as to who will follow and will suggest Jimmy Weinert. That man must have a load of hilarious stories.

I too am part way through i t and so far a great job by Ping and GL. I hope they are committed and keep it going....as much as I am a fan of Steve Matthes' work in general, I also like the variety of DMXS and Main Event Moto, Guy B's Vital pod and even Weege's Podcast Podcast Pod Pod Podcast. The more content the better.

really odd to me how the trailer mentioned being so new and different…then they reveal the format at something that's certainly been done. all good, won't be listening.

audio production sounded on point…something that usually takes a while to nail.

It’s a podcast; how revolutionary can the format be? I think the differentiation lies in content rather than the format it’s being delivered in. I’ll always applaud someone for putting in the work and producing something. Hats off to Ping & co. Best of luck!

it was more a criticism on them spending a few minutes touting it as so new and different, then the fact that it isn't. i want them to do what they're stoked on—just not for me.

pulp, dmxs & vital (maybe others) have, for example, all done long decoster interviews.

> It’s a podcast; how revolutionary can the format be?

lot of examples of doing something different:

matthes has a ton of variety beyond long form interview. pulpmx show, soundcheck, post-race interviews, fantasy, fly moto 60—those each are something different from what everyone else does. even privateer island life, in that it's not the same dozen legends but new blood (and the original format with just alex and cade was different yet).

daniel blair's night before was again something different from anything else out there.

I personally liked it that they let RD talk and not interrupt him ever 2 minutes.

Well done Ping and GL. Great quality and I look forward to listening to more.

I believe what will be new and different will be the in studio shows where there will be a live audience. Plus the people at the live shows get to hang out with Ping and GL before the show starts and play Corn hole and drink beers. Smile

GL talked over Roger several times which I found annoying.
