So much more entertaining to watch two strokes being pushed too their limit and the riders have to work really bloody hard to go fast.

There was more body english in tonights racing than the entire 2018 supercross season, and not a bloody corner in sight!

I know the chances are extremely slim to none but God how awesome would it be to at least have a 2 Stroke class in Supercross? They'll never get rid of the 250/450 format but if they could at least have an open 2 stroke class that would be so awesome.

Great racing, love it. Come down to the right lane on the 250s . If RD had the left right he will probably win it .

its been obvious for years that sx should be 125 2t and 250 4t..

but with the big oems having everyone in their pockets...we have the current startercross snoozefest and 17 rounds?? of it....

Havin ridin both a 300 and 250 i don't see the advantages of the 300. For this event i think the 250 still outshines the 300. I think shane won from just having more time on the bike recently. I made the comment during shanes first moto that hes the next dungey. Kid is damn smooth and makes it look effortless. That was a great last race.

Who knew that using nuanced technical skill to race dirtbikes would provide closer racing and much higher entertainment...

It ain't all about 60+ hp 240 lb monsters.

I couldn't stop smiling tonight. Hell, I could barely go take a piss there was so much going on lol...

Great racing. All it needed was some make up to mud and maybe a random Toyota build project and it would have been perfect.

Awesome racing! RVs Yz 250 suspension was set up just for those whoops and his bike ran good. It was low and slow!
I want to buy a new ktm 250 and have whoever built the TLD engines put mine together. They ripped and sounded like no other bike out there. That was good times.

I'm just going to add a +1 to good event, +1 on the 2 strokes changing things up, and a -1 on the piss poor so-cal hot bed of moto? turnout!?! Little wonder you guys lost the MXGP and the chance to host the Nations.

Close racing.
Guys being themselves.
2strokes.
Good commentating.
Non riding segments were enjoyable.
2 Stroke pipes.
Entertaining the entire way through.
RV and Dungey.

If the goal was to do everything better than Monster, I say a job well done.

That was a bad ass event.. Redbull seems to get this one better every year. Way more entertaing than the MEC and some rounds of SX.

Wish redbull would be the lead sponcer for SX, they would do a great job.

I wasn't a big fan back in the day but RV is seriously my favorite rider right now. I could care less if he's retired. I love this guy.

Such an awesome event. Everyone and their brother knows 2 strokes make for better racing. Except the people that make the calls. It's sad.

But man, what a great event.

I hope this might get 2-Strokes back in SX and MX. The fans love 2-Strokes, and want to see them be allowed to race at the professional level. Lets make it happen people!!! Also on this date back in 10-20-1977 the band Lynyrd Skynyrd had their tragic plane crash 41 years ago. And one of their hit songs was "That Smell". And I think it was so cool for the fans to be able to enjoy "That Smell" of 2-Strokes on this date.

When I was at MXoN, there were several pieces of merch I would've loved to purchased; but they all had that green claw prominently displayed somewhere. Nope. Won't do it. I just won't...

I would like half the series to have 125cc 2 stroke open age 125 pro class, 6 races , and 1 half to Have 250cc 2 stroke class open age 6 race series
If they have to , to fit it in , shorten the 450 main a few laps
By the end of the race it's all sorted out any way .

Need Red Bull to sanction the event, kick the antique AMA out. Then 125 pro class with claiming rule(15k$ to buy winning bike) so PC and other's won't start building 50k$ bikes. Then 250 cc class. First half of the year, bikes must be bone stock except spring rates. Then second half of year works bikes allowed. This will give the privateer a chance. We don't need to corporate our sport and kill it like nascar did. Side by sides are the biggest seller out there. Let them have a intermission race at SX events.

Don't joke about that. Make Up 2 Mud is back for 2019 SX and that is not a joke.

I'm not at all for that Toyota segment. Back in the day Toyota had a privateer award that offered the top privateer something like 25k and a Toyota truck. Toyota needs to go back to that.

What I find ironic about the Make Up 2 Mud segment is that Feld refuses to acknowledge that the MX series even exists yet none of the women they feature on that segment rides SX, only MX. I suppose it's OK because Toyota sponsors SX (rolls eyes) Lame.

I hear you. He's a cool dude. Wasn't easy for me to like him so much when he was busting up Dunge 4 years straight but I've always admired his skills. What a treat. Way to go Red Bull!

I have never been interested enough to watch the whole event before but now i watched this twice in a row. So much fun watching those 2 strokes and all riders just sending it. Heck, 2 strokes are back BIG time! Sick bikes and awesome riders! Thanks Redbull for putting up this event.
