It sounds like the issues are normal for a game that is still in Beta testing.

Until they have a FINISHED game that runs smoothly, they aren't getting my money. shame

Could you imagine if COD was released and you couldn't get into online lobbies, sometimes your gun made wrong sounds, or randomly your player would start shooting. People would burn the Activision building down lol lol

MX vs ATV Supercross, when dialed in (thanks to tips from Vital) simply is the best it's ever been imo. I bought a Ps4 only for this new game, so it's a $500 game, but after a week I set it down and haven't returned. The physics are so different, way more like MXGP, which also didn't work for me. I've heard people say the older MX vs were too arcade-like or something, but the rush of racing with those physics was more realistic to how you feel on a bike. Hopefully I've missed something with the new game and just need to go back and get reaccustomed.

Unfortunately the AI use only 1 line so it gets really rutted at one part and untouched at another.

Never seen so many ppl throw a fit over a video game. Your never going to make 100% of the ppl happy but I prefer this game over the mxgp series especially after this update. Ruts feel better did some long races felt like you need good throttle control now cause you can cross rut. I have no glitch issues (Xbox one x). I never had issues joining a room but I prefer private lobbies since the Reflex days, cause you get a group of fast guys don’t worry about the ppl that just sit on the gate or the track. Physics where curve ball at first I really thought what the hell at first but now I like it a lot. Feels like after this update the camera does not move as much when turning like it used to and would throw me all off.

I’m still getting random crashes on ps4. Can happen on any track it seems. It seems like every two or three 20 lap races I run the game crashes. When the code shows up it gives you the opportunity to report the error. I always just skipped it and tried to get back to game as soon as possible. I asked them about it and they said to report it. It may help them figure out why it’s doing it. If anyone else has random crashes and errors I’d suggest reporting them maybe it’ll help them get it working correctly.

i’m still fingers crossed for ama outdoor tracks. they already have ama, and they already have all the trackmaps made. i know there’s more to it then that but, i think it’s coming.

how are they going to be telling us about this new weather/lighting/environment effects that will be showcased in the new dlc but then it be stadiums. and i know deformation on sx/ax tracks still works and is cool, but it’s gotta be for outdoor stuff.

World at War was broken for the first week.. Online lobbies would not populate and the base loading area was turned off because it didn't work properly.. Their 300 person team worked for 6 days straight to build a working update.. So Yes I can imagine it.

I would think that year old tracks of a defunct series would make this licensing pretty cheap if not free. Technically the entity that owned the rights to the tracks no longer exists? Possibly? Makes sense to me though.

I think we're all kind of expecting the national tracks. If we don't get them it will be dissapointing. I know dlc is supposed to be top secret for some reason. If for some reason we aren't going to get them they should tell us. Suspense of waiting can lead to some big time complaining from everyone if what's released isn't what everyone is thinking.

well that’s how i’m feeling already with the ax dlc. i happpened to see the leaked youtube video where the dude showed like 4 ax tracks. and they’re small ax tracks and the ones i saw were very similar. just like real sx tracks. if it’s what it was in the video, it’s going to get boring quick

they haven’t officially announced the arenacross dlc yet. so don’t be surprised if that’s the “major” announcement.

Never thought of that , hope that not the big news. Those of us that saw leaked video have known about that for awhile.

I really like the game and I understand it's a small team. I do think they should reconsider the info they release. The dlc is always top secret and things like the utv's most of us could care less about.

Then there is the patch releases. This last one the ruts and berms are better. I didn't even appreciate that at first . I was more irritated that the optimizations weren't as good as they made them sound like they were gonna be. The frame rate still has issues and it sounded like it wasn't going to. Plus now I have random game crashes. I know they are still working on it and I think they'll get there, but over promising is not a good idea.

Strange that it originated from a new Rainbow page.. Then reposted to the mx vs atv page.. Thought The Reazon was the conduit for all the mx vs atv HYPE.. If the HUGE announcement is Lorettas I predict a meltdown.. Anything less than Ama nationals will be catastrophic for Rainbow at this point.

The arenacross does look fun from what they posted, but I am really looking forward to the supposed nationals tracks.

I still am having some interesting glitches on the PS4, but for the most part I have been having a good time racing people online. Though once you get to 12+ people the frame rate does slow down a bit which makes being competitive difficult.

One of my favorite glitches was where I got 3rd place and the fourth place person's character was inside mine on the podium - good times.

By the way, I am part of the Vital MX community on PS4 but haven't seen anyone online, if anyone still races online on PS4 my username is TrickyB470

I cant even connect to a private friend lobby anymore without the game crashing, spent a couple of hours last night trying to get a 20 lapper with some aussies and canadians, i couldnt connect once...

I will be giving you an add on PSN when I get around to it! I will definitely be getting the AX DLC tracks. But like others in here, really wanting some National track DLC about now.

In this day and age developers can sit on a game for years just releasing new dlcs for it. Look at gta 5....that got released in like 2013 and they’re still making stuff for it. Who knows how long it might take but even with AX dropping it’s still possible to get AMA tracks down the road. The feel of this game is so good that if they give everyone the track content they want and fix online issues it could be one of the best MX games ever. It has so much potential and hopefully the rainbow guys don’t fk it up
