Was his neighbor for 5 years. Saw the demons first hand. Super person. So sad for his family.

These baja pics sure bring back some memories. I have a ton of photos from them days but these are few of the ones i actually scanned in.

brian behind me at baja circa 1984.

swink with holeshot on kitsch and I, Baja 85'

baja, probably same day as pic above. mike larocco and I about to find out what a skinny small phenom on an 80 does in long straights. Brian on outside.

Brian was 2 years younger and he ran with us like nothing. He had the speed early, was fun to watch him ride.

Not too long ago I think but before this on the pulp MX show I think they called called cold called and that was the one I'm referring to that was really odd I can just tell like during the show everybody singing his praises and he did not feel that way about himself like he didn't realize how amazing he was it sucked

Yeah, that's what I kept thinking - that it was so sad that he didn't realize how good he had been. Prayers for his Children and Family. RIP Brian.

That is so awesome. I love Baja. Baja seems to attract good riders due to the obstacles and all the sand. I would have loved to watch that group in your picture!

Awesome, that is Mike Gresham beside you, one of the many Bigelow's beside him, Lou ??? from Houghton Lake beside him, Me(Lucas Foster) beside him, then Brian, Joe Swartz, not sure 442. Those were big 80 classes back in the day, my Dad and I would travel down from Canada to get a chance to race that track, and ride with fast dudes every chance we could..... Remember "Old Bob" who helped out/sponsored Steve Faber ?

Oh man, everybody remembers old Bob! A friend and I were just talking about him and how he drove Stevie to all the races including Ponca and Lorettas in the tiny car pulling a trialer, never once saw Stevies parents at the races. Did you know the other kid who would come down from Canada Andy? (on a YZ) I forgot there was a little Bigelow bro too LoL

Yeah by that time I think he already moved up to 125s, Swink did too (but raced his big-wheel in the 125 JR's and was winning the A class by the end of the year)

I ran into one of the Fabers at Baja in 2010. Talked to him for a bit.

I saw it and figured there must be a back story of some kind that we don't know about?
