Yep. In the press conference today he said that he's going to try and win. Taking out Marvin's no consolation prize, and there's no bonus in it for him.

One time I was driving back across northern NM and caught eye shine in my headlights right at dusk. There were about 100 elk on the highway and I stopped to let them cross. I turned on my flashers and watched my rear view mirror. Sure 'nuff, here came another vehicle behind me. I flashed my brake lights at him, turned the flashers on and off, hit my high beam several times. People in the other lane are flashing their lights at him. No avail. He passed me going full speed.

SCRREEEEECHHHHHH.... SKIIIIDDDDDDD.... sideways into the ditch. The elk finished crossing, I looked at the other guy as he was spinning his wheels in the ditch and just drove on. He was only about a mile from town and I figured the Shurf'd be along before too long.

Another time, same sort of thing, going up I-25 just south of Walsenburg. Snow storm's coming. Probably 200 pronghorn crossing the Interstate. I stopped, did the flasher thing. Car next to me stopped, too, so we're blocking traffic. Cars in the southbound lane stop. A car comes up behind us, drives out on the shoulder, flips the guy next to me off and roars off down the Interstate. SCRREEEEECCCCCHHH..... SKKKKKKIIIIIIDDDDDD....... into the median. The pronghorn finish crossing, duck under the fence, and we al went our merry way, except for Hot Rod in the median.

As for Eli, Marv, and Anderson? No idea. I hope Anderson gets the holeshot and checks out. That'll put a stop to the rest of it.
