Who Needs Tracks Nowadays....

Probably one of the raddest videos I have ever seen. Super creative, awesome riding and chill vibes. I dig it.

I think it’s so sick how he just sends the bike down El Toro. I get a skate video vibe feel from this, it’s so sick.

How is this any different to "wheelie boys" who ride dirt bikes in urban areas?

Meh..... only decent bit was launching it up the steps.

Urban (pedal) bike skills = Chris Akrigg or Danny Macaskill.

Never once rode in traffic or competed with other vehicles or people for road space. All stunts looked to be executed or intentionally timed to not interfere with the safety of the general public in any way.

Josh Hill's Urban video on the Alta last year has some really cool stuff too, although it is not all urban. The Alta is perfect for stealth riding. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPBN8ZGNG7M

A little help on the embed please.

I think its dope. Takes a lot of balls to commit to hits like that. I'd like to see Durham do an urban video with Alta.

Same weed heads that tried to jump over highway? Riding without helmet and gear just stupid.

I will say that I enjoyed both videos. I am always visualizing myself hitting urban ramps.

Sorry, but this is far from "First Ever".

Julien Dupont has been doing this for ten years for Red Bull maybe longer..

TJ Rozsa did this in the New York City streets in late 90s or 2000....long before wheelie boys. It's on Youtube.

Somewhere a street BMX dude is laughing.

The road gap at the end was pretty cool but at the end of the day, this feels like an attempt to be something it isn't.

And to prove my point...here's what you can find on the daily at Vital BMX...

Good thing they included the token quad guy. Don't want to forget about our special quad friends.

Hey I guess I am just crotchety and old, but I don't see anything positive about this. Besides being unspectacular (I assume they were going for the opposite), MX bikes are for closed course competition only. I just don't see how this helps our sport. To me it does the opposite. Now free riding in the hills-got it. That is how everyone in my generation got into riding, because there were plenty of areas to just go out and ride. I could go out and ride, every day, straight from my garage. And I did-a lot. But riding anywhere else other than that was not cool.
