All of my reps start with 2018 SX. ( 2018 SX Foxborough - 2018 SX Salt Lake - 2018 SX Minnesota etc. )I will keep it that way for the rest of the series. But looks like it may be advantageous to have a unique prefix. Gonna have to think about that one. And due to the constraints of Facebook and Instagram I may change my XBOX ONE handle I'll let ya'll know .

I'm on PS4 so I won't be able to try out any of you guys' tracks.

I haven't tried the search feature yet so I don't know if a list of tracks starts popping up as soon as you start typing or if it only appears after you entered the complete name. I'm hoping they start showing up as soon as you start typing.

Having a unique prefix will only help if it works that way. If you have to enter the complete specific track name the search feature will be sort of useless. It should pick up on common SX words like say Atlanta. Enter that and list every track that has Atlanta in the title. Anyone know if it already works that way?

They should patch it so that you can also search by PSN/Xbox name. Would be so much easier.

At least there's a search feature now so that's an upgrade.

The compound looks sick. Not sure I'll be dropping any money on it right now though.

The compound is great! I have mixed feelings about the AI when you do a single event in MX mode. They're really hard to beat! I've tried 5 times now and only managed 2nd place. This kind of difficulty is exactly what this games needs. However, the AI is so hard to beat because they rail sweeping turns like they're in MotoGP. Watch them in the replay, it's weird to watch. Not complaining! I'm actually really enjoying the challenge!
I hear you! The first time I played the MX national, I got 13th and smoked by 30 secs on a SHORT race. I blamed it on not knowing the track and using medium gearing and tried a few more times. Nope, got smoked again. Was able to get up to 3rd, but still got crushed. You can catch and pass the AI in the rhythm and jump sections, but the AI is just too good in the long flowing fire-road sections of the track. The SX track is a little easier to beat the AI, but it's still tough. I'm going to need a lot more practice on the MX track. Love it!

My only complaint about the compound is not being able to change race length and type

i can’t for the life of me see how anyone could think the compound in mes in any better then say the dunes in all out for example. imo they dont even compare

mes’ physics allow for good racing, but imo it’s horrendous for free riding. don’t you feel like a stiff board riding around the desert hitting little hip jumps? i feel like most of you are still in awe of the graphics, because it damn sure can’t be the actual gameplay.

the motocross track is a dream. excellent track. but the motocross aspect of the game, especially in comparison to all out, really show the box that you’re in, in terms of what you can do on the bike. i would love to ride that track on all out. i can’t put my finger on what it is, but the turning physics seem different then the way they felt while riding the sx tracks. maybe it’s just the increased speed. i liked their approach to be different with the sx track but overall i think they could have done better. when i think about what these developers could be doing in games, i just feel like the possibilities are endless.

i’ve gone back to MES a few times now for updates and DLC, but imo all out is so much more fun. in-game and online. like i said, mes’ physics imo don’t allow for fun “freeriding”. racing? definitely

there’s nothing like MES’ graphics tho. sheesh. on another level

The graphics in this free ride compoud are immensely better than ALL OUT. That being said, you hit the nail on the head when it comes to the free riding physics. They were definitely coded for a track or something linear. Really don't have the movement like MX. Very noticeable when turning at slow speed.

So excited for the dunes in All Out but unfortunately they don't feel "soft" or deform like a pliable surface. You aim at one of those sumbitches on the 500 and you may never land

Wondering if this compound will come standard on MXGP Pro. Might hold out on it until the new game will be released

i felt the same way about the dunes for a while too. but i’ve actually memorized most of the dunes and i’ve linked together different sections to make a “track”. once some other guys online catch onto the line, we all get moving and literally get a track carved out. i have never had so much fun lol.

it’s funny to me how my perception of things change over time. like the dunes and the national tracks. i love them now

cool I'm going to dl the update and compound tonight.

I would kinda have to agree with you on the bike physics. Why have a compound if you don't really have control of the bike to do insane whips etc?
4/18/2018 4:32pm
the free whips I see too. also its the bike is on an axis or weird lock, even on the ground. . like the rides in front of a grocery store. hopefully the physics catch up with the amazing platform.

Does anyone else think the Monster Energy Cup track feels 'unfinished'? It seems a lot less polished than most of the other tracks in the game - perhaps the MEC was a bit rough in real life and I just don't recall it... The worst part for me is the 180 left after the straight after Monster alley - that corner just seems to square you up so much you end in up on the infield!

I thought being a DLC, Milestone would have had time to perfect this track.

No, you're not alone. The jumps are sloppy and it's hard to see where the boundaries are at times.

Exactly... In the outside area, the lip at the top of the take off for the middle double is non-existent on the outside, and the following set of whoops you can skip them entirely if you hug the tuff blocks on the left.

I have changed my XBOX handle to spodes tracks in order to match all my social media etc. fYI....

Milestone, Please make tracks searchable by creator . Searching a track by name is like ordering food off a blank menu? How does the person know what they want if they can see it?

That is a spot on analogy. Kudos! Not a whole lot of throttle gyroscopics at play

I’ve made seven tracks so far for PS4. They are T-Fish SX1 through SX7. SX5 sucks. The first couple are a little technical. SX3 is a little shorter and more like an AX track being that the jumps aren’t huge by any means. Good track to bang bars on. SX6 and SX7 flow really well and are a lot of fun.

All I know is, DON'T START ON THE LEFT!!!! The left isnt anywhere near the same as starting on the right. You can actually triple double on the right where the left you cant. Have you noticed how much longer it takes to get to the straight that leads to the finish line? It definitely wasn't built properly, but other than that I really like the MEC track

Totally! The first two races I did I started on the left. The first time I just put my lack of holeshot down to a bad start, then the second time I nailed it, and still joined the pack in about 5th!

Since I covered Seattle to Vegas, I am going back to A1 and start making the rest. Here is a shot at A1 progress.

Roster updates?

Will milestone update riders and teams. By this point in the season There are a lot of filling riders and riders out. EA sports games give me the option to update rosters every so often. Milestone could go a long ways with this game if they offer an updated roster of riders with new teams new year all available on one update, optional of course

Milestone makes games based off the previous year thus replicating everything almost perfectly. Thus you won't see any roster updates. However, they were seen scanning riders at the Supercross races this year so expect a new Supercross game next year.

250F PINNED is a track I made. If you're browsing for tracks give it a try on Xbox. It's built for 250's. A few big booters, some technical stuff, a section where you have to roll a 12 footer before a double.

I tried to make the corners somewhat open because of the lack of traction on the online tracks.

My bent knee plea to Milestone regarding the editor.

1). Please consider removing the cement bases from the bottom of the finish line structure that arch over the top of the jump. The tracks already suffer from being a tad too narrow. Plus they aren't there in real life.

2). Please consider removing the Tuff blocks in the track editor.

3). Please consider allowing us to race our own tracks with the AI prior to uploading them. This has an effect on the finished product and will keep from having us re-upload it to make such changes.

4). Please consider adding a simple "save" option without having to rename it every time or trust the save option upon exiting the editor.

5). Please consider removing any fixed objects ( Podium ) that exist on the stadium floor so we can use every inch if needed.

6). Along those same lines please consider making the smallest stadiums about 5% larger as the conventional seven lane SX tracks don't always fit inside the editor build areas forcing us to use the HUGE stadiums.

7). Please consider allowing longer tracks names.

8). Please consider a search by creator option.

9). Please consider adding these objects to the editor.

a. Rollers - 5' & 10' long both 6" and 12" height.
b. A couple sand options.
c. 1/2 lane smaller jumps
d. Elevated on-off turns
e. A few more corner options with 22.5 degree bends.
f. A third whoop option only a tad larger than the current large whoops with peaky cupped faces. We could then mix and match with the other 2 current ones.
g. A start straight with no turn at the end that funnels down to the stock track width where we can make it go anywhere we want, or add a roller or even right handed.
h. A dragons back that has a much more defined whoops up the front of it.

Ok, that ought to do it for now.

P.S. Thank you for the game and all your hard work. I have a life again. Please send me anything you want me to test. Or an editor where I can create objects to submit to you for approval. I work for free.

It’s been a week or 2 since playing, thought I’d give it a blast this morning and it feels weird.. Have they made changes to the gameplay in an update or something? It feels stiff and slow..
