One last question: what did you think of J-Law at Daytona?
Dude, I was standing up cheering my butt off at Daytona! I can’t believe that guy! The first year he was on the Team 199 Cernic’s team, and as much as people don’t like his antics, I think he could possibly be the best in the world if he focused in a different manner. I mean, the guy turned the fastest lap! Beyond anything else, the fastest lap in qualifying is very, very respectable. And when it comes down to it, he races! When he was on the team, everyone else would come in and make excuses, but he’d come in and say, “I’m not in shape, but I’ll try harder the next race.” The guy has issues, but I have nothing but respect for him!

pastrana, in case you haven't noticed wouldn't say a bad thing about charlie manson.

jlaw could possibly be the best in the world....so what? there were/are a lot like him...damn shame. too.

I saw jason do some things on a bike that i doubt james could do....that's a shame more than anything.

He is destined to have people on the internet put every move he makes under the microscope no matter how much of a big deal the situation actually is. Usually it isn't.

Seen so many potential world beaters come up through the ranks only to bomb out when they had to really try.

Being that he just got second in his first career 450 race, I doubt his career is over. He still has plenty of time to live up to his potential.

Pastrana being the respectful person that he is, applauded Lawrence for his racing at Daytona which is what the question intaled - not "Do you approve of Jlaws actions" . Regardless of Jlaws actions off the track, which i do wish he can overcome, he is a phenominol racer. Now if the question referred to Jlaws other incidents i think TP would have answered them in a truthful yet respectable way - which is why he is such a great influence for the sport

In few more years Pastrana just might get a handle on the whole PR thing.

He is a class act wont say anything bad about anyone.

it would suck trying to beat the assholes on vital. think about it... dude misses SF because he was sick, people here hammer him saying he skipped drug tests. then races probably the best race in his life, people say he should be DQed because he cut the track. really, it must be hard to over come. knowing that the slightest little move you make, someone is out there thats going to hammer you, even if it isnt bad, theyll make it bad. i feel bad for him really.

Lawrence has a way of making every part of the track look so smooth. He's definitely in my top 5 fun to watch riders.

Not much Bobby, just trying to earn a dollar mate and hoping Chad can get over the line at Vegas, maybe Lawrence can play a spoiler for him, that would set a few screaming wouldnt it haha

How about yourself mate? I see the fishing is going well haha

Let's not say he is destined to throw it all away until he is gone from racing.

Then we can say 'he was destined to throw it all away'

Until then, we will have to wait and see if he lives up to his potential.

He is young, and I couldn't care less what he does off the track. I am a fan because I love to watch him ride.

No kidding. Travis is awesome, and this coming from him is pretty humorous.

Pastrana found a way to make good money without racing, His personality is just one in a million , I don't see J-Law being able to do that, He better get serious and start racing the window of opportunity is closing.

Slight correction, Jay; Pastrana found a way to make better money than he could racing.

Yup. Hope his health holds out when he's older; his body's written a lot of checks that get cashed later in life.
