Picked mine up yesterday. A little late to the game, but better late than never.

I finally was able to ride mine yesterday. I went to Winchester MX NH first open practice of the season and it was packed with probably 600 riders. The track was great. I rode all 5 vet practices and all 5 expert practices. I went from 0.1 to 1.6 on the hr meter and I'm paying dearly for it today. The bike feels very much like last yrs on the track except it turns even better because you can slide right up the gas cap when entering the turns. It really feels lighter than last yrs if that's possible but it must be the shorter head and valve train combo and maybe the frame changes. I set the sag at 103 based on a lot of testing by Powerband this winter and he feels that with cone vales that 103 is the happy number for it. I've been running 108 for the last few seasons. For everyone that's never been there the track has that soft dark brown chocolate cake dirt with zero rocks anywhere that you'd kill to ride on. I had Dunlop's new MX12 on the rear and the bike felt a rocket with it. The hook up is amazing with this tire. I ran both maps and map 2 is definitely much more aggressive than last yrs map 2 and it has more right off of the bottom and with the soft track conditions map 2 was perfect. Shifts up and down with the slightest touch of the shift lever and it's like butter too. I switched to the taller and straighter Mika MC bend because I'm 6' and the stock bar just feel to low to me. The seat is has the hardest the stock foam that I've ever had and my ass is killing me today. I thought the Think seat foam that I had last yr was the stiffest I'd ever used but nope this new seat definitely is. It kept pulling my pants down too. Anyone coming off of last yrs SXF 450 is going to love this bike or the 19 when they get here because KTM definitely did their homework with the changes/refinements because they did a great job making a great bike even better and definitely didn't mess anything up either. This new bike has ZERO weaknesses and is easily the best 450 MX bike on the track today.

Front fender is the same, front number is different but will fit. Nothing else fits, shrouds, side number plates and rear fender are all different and have very different mounting points.

The forks were very slightly modified last yr so those are the same. The shock is bone stock except for the 48 spring I installed and the sag is at 103 instead of the 108 on my previous FEs. It broke in very quickly and the track was beat to shit by my last ride at 5pm and this is best stock rear suspension that I've ever had. It will not require a revalve unlike my previous 3 shocks did.

Saw the first one in person last weekend at silver valley mx in Lexington NC a sweeet ass track I might add and the guy was supercool I went over and checked the bike out and man are they nasty!! he went out first session 20 minutes pretty sure if I recall right he said the bike had 1 hour on it and started flashing a code he called the dealership they told him to run it lol thinking it was some cylinder related sensor but said it ran fine he continued to ride it the rest of the day

Still no head pipe and I'm bummed because I ordered my stuff in early February. Yes I'm at .64 and it's running tremendous now.

Got the new updated graphics on today. Added some blue and orange to try and break up all of the white on the back half of the bike.
