oh and the foam round the pegs wont work, acerbis do a cover for this,or we used to cut up a front inner tube and cable tie it in place when it was wet, ugly as hell and not particularly effective but it helped.
Please dont think im being disrespectful, its such a lovely bike it's a couple of small things.

Why go with two mufflers? any advantage? Could we see a close up of the split?
The cast cross over and arm at the point below the lower pipe would move at least 2.25" inches, or more upwards. There sure ain't that level of clearance shown in the pictures. Perhaps the lower section will be tightened up before actual use.
Twin mufflers :You know, If a manufacturer produced better power, whilst making a bike significantly quieter, I'd have no problem with the concept. But, Honda, with their CRF250 and 450Rs, don't seem to achieve that, despite their might.
Inertia improvement from having a pair of mufflers closer to the center of gravity? - hell yes, that too, if really accomplished. . I myself can really feel the difference when I run an ultra quiet, large bodied, 26" long muffler on my 500, as against my still very quiet 24" small bodied muffler. Then you get to the short ones I have, but never use. You sure can feel a difference.
But, the mufflers are well back on the bike from the CofG - there's no attempt to mount them further forward.
Stingers , and their length and diameters, are an important part of a 2t pipe. If people don't believe me, well how in hell do the various different mufflers make the differences they feel? A perforated core of a muffler Is a part of the stinger.
So, I see two mufflers / 2 stingers. Both 'stingers' looking like the typical 1 1/8" OD on most 500s. So, a shedload of extra length, and overall volume. Plus, it looks like the mufflers have a large front section, going onto a what one would assume is a large perf. core, judging by the outlet hole size. Maybe the maker will put in / has put in smaller diameter cores, with just big outlets for 'looks'?
Hell, it's a 500, so it might not be that noticeable in what it does to the performance. I myself prefer the smoothness of my (own built) long, quiet mufflers. People can't hear me, and that's a real 'performance' enhancer in my riding.
This, is not going to be a good set up for performance. But hey, it doesn't matter when it will be destroyed by the cast section of the swingarm, when the suspension compresses if it's left as it is.
Why would a manufacturer do such a thing? Money, I guess - But, it's only going to blot their reputation, if it's actually used as it is pictured.
Yes, I am a critical bastard, but this really shits me - stuff done just for looks.
