After you buy the parts you have to go into tuning and move the sliders to the right for each and press A to apply. But you may be right that the game is resetting your tuning options.

Anyone having issues with Toronto sx single race loading? Anyways I have to say with the straight in air physics and no in air turning these sx tracks are pretty good designs right?

I've been playing on the Xbox one and the game was pretty unplayable in races before they released the patch. Good to see thats been fixed. But overall the game is still pretty terrible. I think it's silly to pay $50 (or any amount) and have to tweak traction or other settings just to make it tolerable.

Really think people should save their money and not reward rainbow for some really bad decision making. Thought I remembered an article/post/etc blaming the Alive choices on bad management prior to them closing down. Thought with the first fresh release with thqnordic we'd see something great. This seems a lot like the bad choices made with alive.

I disagree, I think its awesome you can adjust everything. If you could adjust controller sensitivity that would be even better. I thought this was the worst game I ever played first day or two. Now i think its the best...well, if they get all the glitches under control.

I really love the menus and how easy it is to navigate everything. Whoever did all that work deserves a raise. Its cool how the free riding worlds contain all the nationals. I actually prefer riding them that way. Sort of feels like an abandoned or private track. Everything loads fast. Biggest problems for me is fps drops especially when track is getting rough. The tuff blocks sometimes send me flying like I was shot out of a cannon.

So MES has been out for just over a month a believe, and within that time I’ve not once been able to connect to a multiplayer race. All out on the other hand has been out for 4 days and I’d say I’ve had the same amount of online races as I’ve had offline on MES. I just think that the match browser tool is so helpful finding online games especially being in Australia where it’s difficult to connect to matches.

Here's one case where I beat Maverick and Villo to the punch. I posted Kellen's Start Your Systems whip tutorial back on page 62. Of course, everyone just thinks I bash the game so it was probably looked over. Wink

Great tutorial by a great MX video game channel.

Anyone else not received the $100k motocoin for preordering?

Disc version you get the 100k Motocoins. Should be a code in the game box or on your store receipt.
Funny you say that. My local Gamestop called me on Friday and told me that they released the game early. I had a hard disc copy. So i was like, "hard disc is released today? or just the digital download?" and they confirmed i could come pick up my copy.

So i have a code for the motocoin and i got my copy friday. Haven't played it more than 20 min. though cause i'm working on the new house like crazy.

Anyone remember what game had the hill climb feature back in the day, not sure if it was mx vs atv game or not. doubt it but does all out happen to have this type of racing? Used to have to clutch and swerve to make it up the hill climbs the fastest....

MX vs ATV Unleashed is the one you're thinking of and no All Out doesn't have any hill climb events.

thanks for the info Mav,
those little things like that was what made mx unleashed so great back then. I am still on the fence about this new game and the comments aren't helping the cause. I will probably buy it........

yeah i have a “mod” 450 but it feels as fast as the stock 250f. i’m thinking there’s a glitch to where my bike didn’t actually upgrade. in other words, the bike hasn’t felt any different since getting suspension or engine or any tuning except for the tires. anyone else feel like the bike isn’t modded?

my biggest complaint honestly is how lame the “motocross” tracks are. you can tell they designed then to be ridden on by utvs as well which is a shame. i wish there were motocross tracks that felt like real motocross tracks. and why implement he water feature so much but there isn’t any splashing or moving of the water when you go through it. i’ve seen better water physics from games 10 years ago. i know, we’ve all said it. i do like the game tho

i feel like with all these problems, and the ones with MES, i wonder how much of this is because of the Unreal engine. or just bad luck. i do however believe rainbow/nordic will work had to fix things and make improvements. i’m cool with the rider/bike physics, again, i just wish i was riding on cool motocross tracks....remember how sick the motocross tracks were on reflex?
I was doing some ghost racing this weekend - and decided to redeem my 100,000 points code - fully upgrade a 450, and had to work at beating the ghost I had set on the stock 125.

I though I would be able to blow that time out of the water with a fully mod 450. Though there were some parts of the track where the ghost was neck and neck.

I do find it interesting how much better the stock 125 is than the 250f.

Played for a few more hours last night and it is not a very good game, sad how Reflex is still heads and shoulders better than their last three games. I had high hopes for all out and I hope they can fix it but I doubt it. Sad

The 125 is really good in this game for sure, unfortunately the engine sound is soooooooo bad I can't use it. Disgraceful how bad it is actually.

I buy them all and find some entertainment in them but you might wait until you can get it for half price or better. I am sure I will buy the PC version but will wait for it to be on sale.

after messing with the traction the game is MUCH better and more predictable. maybe a future patch could set the default traction to be ride-able, because if you never touch it that's the bigger killer.

supercross tracks and riding sx is awesome.

"motocross" not so much. tracks are WAY too wide and not really built with bikes as the emphasis. also the drop in frame-rate makes it almost impossible to get through a 5 lap race. qualifiers are useless because it's almost impossible to NOT rip a holeshot. and some of the tracks don't even have a gate? wtf?

liking the game a lot. i'm still running a 125, takes a long time to make any credits. once i have a 450 and have it all set up i'll be getting online to check it out.

Some of the outdoor tracks are too wide and wide open, but some of them are really fun IMO. I can't remember right now but the beach tracks that are narrower and more technical are perfect.

Different strokes, I guess.

I've really enjoyed all of the SX tracks.

also, the terrain deformation is sweet, but it needs to be beefed up. i do 5 lap races and by the end there are hardly ruts. i did a 10 lapper on supercross and really had to change things up towards the end of the race.

Yeah - it is horrible - I have turned the engine sound off in the game - since it is so bad / distracting. The game is a lot better with no engine sound for me. . . I'll just make them up in my head lol.

Sadly I agree, despite the physics I thought the National Tracks from Reflex were awesome and i was hoping for more of that type of track. The the elevation changes made those tracks alot of fun.

I am really surprised you hardcore MVA fans are not pointing out how the rear wheel will NEVER break traction. Im not talking the tuning, im talking any sort of bump you could be hitting, or rear wheel slipping out of a rut because of excessive throttle use. Last time this was in place was MCM2.

That was one the of major complaints with Reflex. Ever since Alive they've vastly increased rear wheel traction, which isn't necessarily a bad thing IMO

Noticed something weird last night, my buddies and I were getting some split screen in and we noticed player 2 was able to choose from a selection of oem bikes and I can not find them anywhere for player 1 on the game to use them!! Anyone else notice this? Found it pretty weird they only let player 2 use oem bikes and there no where to be found in single player mode Dizzy

They confirmed that OEM bikes are coming VERY soon on their Instagram just now.
