DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.
Maybe cuz they were from circa 1974?
I've serviced or rebuilt about 45 sets of them over the past 30 years & I've done about 20 set of Marzocchi's. Never seen a set of Marizocchi's with a brace on the sliders.
I don't doubt you for a minute, but I've never seen a pair of Ceriani's like that in my life!
In the picture the forks look like Very rare Maico Magnesium "Factory" 125 forks!
If you have time can you post a pic of the set you have? I'd like to get a better look at them.
Thanks!
Pit Row
I just got off the phone with Dave ( Great guy BTW) from TM & he told me a lot about the little TM works bike.
Front forks are Magnesium Marzocchi's with a extender to gain an extra inch of travel & the front hub is a cast unit, the rear hub is made from Billet aluminum.
The rear Shock's do have a line for oil cooling & it was built in the second year TM was in business.
Dang I hate it when I'm so convinced that I'm right & turn out to be wrong, But so was Newmann.
I guess it was the angle of the picture of the front end...Ya that's it... the picture thew me & Joe off......That's my story & I'm sticking to it.......LOL
Now see pic of some aluminum Zokes I have here at work. I have the magnesium versions at home and they literally look like they were pulled from the same casting mold. Large rectangular brake stay boss and only minimal gusseting right at the axle lug. See pic:
Another view of Chris's Elsinore with the Ceriani's. I'll take a good pic of mine tonight for ya' buddy. Get back with Dave if you need to!
