I was so, so close to predictng a Brayton win after the heats, but didn't say anything in the race thread. Got extremely busy at work just before the 450 main and couldn't follow at all. Finally slowed down enough right about the time the very first racerx tweet I saw about the race was "BRAYTON WINS!!". Very pumped for him, he's ridden extremely great all year.

Note to all the kids out there: if you want a role model or want a goal to shoot for, it's Brayton. Literally have not seen anyone ever say a bad thing about him. Just a good dude. Awesome.

I watched the race on dailymotion. When I opened up my computer I had the lap ticker open (stupid!) and it said Tomac at the top. I closed it quick but I was so pissed that I ruined it and knew the winner. Anyway, was lucky enough to find a feed and started the main. Tomac down? WTF? I guess he doesn't win. Then, starts charging through the pack. Gets up to the top 3 and I guess he does win but I'm rooting for Brayton anyway. Stressful on the last lap because I thought JB must have thrown it away. Good on ya Justin! The lap ticker must have been on practice but I closed it so fast I didn't notice. How in the flying fuck my buddies and I weren't able to watch this on the tele like the rest of the rounds I'll never know. Sounds like a hell of a race from heats on. Props to JB. Oldest ever!

To keep the needle pushing this thread, I would like to ask every Moto Junky to purchase the MXA or other mag.edition that should have Brayton on the cover. You'll be able to show and tell your kids and grandkids someday just how classic this race really was.... and as someone else mentioned what a great role model Brayton is.... can't deny that !!
