JB10, I have always been a fan. Cheering you on all these years had nothing to do with your talent, but your character as a person. Guthrie OK, way back in your Arenacross days, we came to see a night of great racing...... and you made my night.
My son had just turned three, and prior to that, Santa has just dropped off his first dirt bike, a brand new JR 50. He was so thrilled to see a real pro, someone who could do amazing things on a motocross bike, and you Sir, delivered.
You took my boy, showed him your bike, sat him on it, and carried him into your rig and showed what a hero does..... inspires the youth.
Last night, my baby of 19 called me from college 10 seconds after you crossed the finish line, lighting the candles to say, “ He did it Daddy!! I always new he would!!!” The impact you made on my son, he never, ever forgot. And for that I will always have your back...... You’re in a league that is extra special, not because of your talents on a MX bike, but, when you didn’t have to, you excelled in being a true hero to a little admirer.
So proud of your accomplishments, proud of your work ethic, proud of you. Thank you sir, you rank amongst the greats of our sport in my eyes.

PS.... I sure as hell hope he is on here from time to time.......?
This is what it's all about! Had a similar experience at LL with the Wharton bros and my (at the time) 4 year old. Well said sir! Major respect for JB10! Congrats!

I for one call my father "daddy" still and all 3 of my kids still call me that as well. When you become one, you'll always be one. Anyone can be a father but you have to be special to be a daddy.

I guess a kid who knows his father done his absolute best for them then, now, and in the future as long as the good Lord grants him more time on this earth. My Daddy is 73, and I’m beyond honored to call him that to this day...... Especially honored my son is proud to call me the same. Sorry you don’t see it that way, but I respect your opinion for that matter. So with that being said, please respect what we refer to the excellent fathers in our family, that name is Daddy.

Finally got a chance to watch the race after being gone this weekend. What else can you say that hasn't already been said, couldn't have happened to a better guy, and on a track that there is absolutely no faking it or getting lucky. He rode a perfect race from start to finish and made a track that ate others for dinner look easy, well deserved in every way. Congrats JB!!!

So happy for him. I can only imagine the emotions he felt as he crossed that finish line.

From 15th as a rookie (when it was still the 125cc class) to 1st at Daytona!

Another lifelong fan after speaking to him at a Specialized post-Anaheim SX MTB ride; within minutes, it was very apparent he's one of the good ones. Happy to see him blazing a new trail with his US and Australian endeavors and to see such milestones in 2018 - Congratulations Mr. Brayton Cool

Puttin’ Charlotte on the map! Way to go, Justin!
I know he lives in Charlotte but isn't he from Iowa?
Puttin FT DODGE, IOWA on the map
Same town Teddy Maier, Gavin Faith and Chad Pederson were from.
Ft Dodge, Iowa is the hotbed for the fastest riders out of Iowa.
Hence........ That's where I was proudly born and raised too,
Congrats to Justin, one the best, most deserving, never say die riders in SX.

Fast guys from Ft Dodge, Iowa
1) Justin Brayton
2) Chad Pederson
3) Gavin Faith
4) Teddy Maier.

Congrats Brayton ! Awesome to see, he earned that one.

This brings 2 questions to mind:
1 - Who else has had their first victory at Daytona ?
2- Does he take this momentum and win more ?

12-Pager already!

He ruined my fantasy pics, but I couldn't care less. (Wait... this is motocross; should I have said "could care less?" "Couldn't thank him?")
JB deserves this win and it's great to see him finally take one.

Post a reply to: Brayton gets his own 10 pager. Right now.
