Is there really not that many people playing? Most of the lobbies I've been in have had French hosts from Europe. I know that with some other games I've played if the host is in Europe or Asia and I'm in North America the game lags immensely and as soon as I switched to a host that was in North America it was a totally different experience.
They need to work on their online experience ASAP because that's almost the only thing that counts in gaming nowadays. That's what keeps a game alive and fun. We play online because it's always a new challenge. If they don't fix that a lot of people will simply put it aside and that's where it'll stay to collect dust.
Last night i got tboned off the start davalos style and it sent me flying across the track. Well i respawned there and was about half a lap ahead of everyone. Then while leading some jack ass blows off a berm sending every tuff block flying at me and i managed to dodge them!! Ofcorse a lap later iam taken out by on coming traffic. Needless to say i rage quit. I havnt been in a lobby with 12 friends though so that may be different.

If we click on Search Match we can then choose Filters to select the type of race we want or Refresh List which refreshes the lobby page where all the races/hosts are listed. There's usually 12 lobbies found. It shows if the host is currently in a race along with how many players are in his lobby or if he's currently in the lobby waiting for a race to start. If you hit refresh list, new host/matches appear.
I'd post a pic of the screen that comes after you click Search Match but I'm having problems uploading pics.
It would also break off the athmosphere a bit and add another aspect to the game, instead of just racing. It gets pretty old pretty quick. I loved being able to try bikes and stuff at the "compound" in MXGP3, and yeah it is just another big thing (for me) thats missing. I don't always want to, or have time to, go on another race in career mode. And i do not always want to be inside a stadium. It broke off the monotony very well in GP3, and it would have been even more usable in this game. Especially with all the issues.

You can choose any track you want and save up to 20 different settings. If you only ride the 250 or 450 that's enough to save your best settings for each track.
No need to race to try out new settings.
Not so much about about fiddling with clickers as it was about just screwing around. Seems easy enough since they had it in their last game, but then again they had a lot of things in gp3 that did not make it over to SX.
Edit. This compound was in Career mode, so whenever you where in the career screen you could chose to go to your private compound and freeride.

Don't think they'll be intoducing that to the MES game. Only thing planned as DLC I think is the Monster Cup Event.
Maybe you're thinking of All Out? In that game you'll have your own compound to play around in along with a garage for your bikes/ATV's/UTV's.
Almost everytime I click on leaderboard to check out the stats I get an error code and need to restart the game. I have no idea why but it happens a lot. It happens as soon as I click on it or not long after. Screen turns blue with an error code message.
The fact I could do it in MXGP3 but not here is laughable.
Only issue I had was getting stuck in the lobby after the race. No matter what I clicked nothing worked. It's like the game was frozen. In order for me to go to the next race I had to restart the game after each race. I believe that was fixed after the patch was released.
