65 inch is great tv.. for watching tv and movies... Not sayin its the end of the world or anything just letting people know that Holtergeist was right. Even if your big tv refreshes the same/settings are set for gaming the sheer size hinders your performance... period. Like I said, I said it was stupid until my little brother showed me. No serious console gamer uses anything smaller than a 27" nd larger than 38".

Do your best laptime on any track, then swap over to playing it on your computer monitor if you have one and repeat... im betting 2 to 3 seconds a lap and better control. When youre done that, try playing a first person shooter.

Millions of nerds better than you at video games cant be wrong lol once I realised that nd swallowed my pride my experience has been better

I am a gaming nerd. You’re incorrect. Simply the size does not matter. It is the hardware in the tv that matters. Go to rtings.com and look up your tv specs for info that matters.

I’m not trying to start an argument, I just don’t want misinformation spread.
Exactly. The TV internals is what makes the difference. Why do you think the same size TV's from the same manufacturer sells for different prices. A TV that sells for $1400 is also sold for $3200. Just better components.

I play on a 50" plasma screen 240hz. Screen size is just a personal preference. In competitive gaming a smaller screen make sense since you dont have to move your eyes across the screen as much making your reaction time just that much quicker. This is really helpful when it comes to first person shooters.

Some TV's also have a game mode which helps. I don't know all the settings on mine but do know that the image changes if I set it to movie, sports, game, etc.

Incorrect. Go to the Main screen, go to customize, click on your 250. I usually go as far as going into the Components section. Hit the back button all the way to main screen, go back into your Career, and you should be on your 250. This is also how I make changes to my bike (add-ons) while in Career.

It's a hassle that shouldn't be, but it works for me.
That worked for me to get back on the 250s I discovered it by accident...

I like the game alot, just needs some fixin

Anyone know if there are any updates available yet? My game keeps crashing after I finish the 250 west race at Seattle. I lose my championship info, but I keep all my money and gear and stuff. It just restarts it. I love the game play but the game is messed up bad lol. And now all the riders sit on the starting gate with one foot down, not revving at all.

Awesome I will give that a try. I couldn't figure out a way to get back to the 250. Thanks for the tip.

Even as a MX Sim guy, i do enjoy the Arcade Games a lot, but the AI needs a lot of improvement/tweaking. I finish every Race on the 1st Place with 20-30 Seconds differential on the hardest difficulty. Also the Privateers finish regularly on the Podium in front of Full Factory guys. But im sure, Milestone put some Patches out soon.

For the guys who plays it on PC, i created the upcoming 2018 Arlington Round.

You know what....Power to the Privateers. The AI does need to be a little harder, but I'm wondering if the 450's are any easier? From what I've heard it's harder on a 450.

Two things:

I think these AI riders can be pretty tough in the 450 class. I was smoking the 250 guys, but the 450 riders can be tricky to beat.

How do I download user created tracks on Xbox?

I was 3/4 through a 450 career doing full events, 20 minute mains, and got a fucking corrupted data error. Forcing me to restart the whole career. I'm starting to get more and more pissed at the clunky bullshit of this game

Just an FYI to anyone playing on Steam, having loading issues once it can't connect to remote server, just close the game, shut off your wifi and or wired connection, shut down steam, the reload the game, start steam in offline mode, and you can play without any loading issues. Obviously this means no multiplayer.

User created tracks I believe are found under single event. You have official tracks and user tracks.

Hey xbox1 owners, I have only owned this console for 2 months....is there a way to BACKUP our data to the cloud before we launch the game in case hours of effort are instantly erased?
2/14/2018 3:43pm
I feel like I just paid full price for a game still in beta

I'm not 100% sure it's what you are looking for though.

I’m up to level 35. Still cant get first in realistic mode in the 450 class. 250 is no problem to win though.

Audio issues? Anyone figure a way to fix the audio issue?
I was playing career last night, sound was great. The game then froze, had to reboot my PS4.
Upon restarting the game, I am not getting any audio now, just a faint buzz from the stadium announcer.
Anyone figure a way around this bug?? Hard to play without the motor sounds.
As for my review, I feel the game is 8/10. I have played every moto game dating back 30 years, and they did a great job with this one! Only things I would change is add in scrubbing, and make a career mode where you can make your own team/sponsors, etc.. Really was enjoying it until I lost the audio aspects of the game.

It feels that way. If you're mid pack on the start, the whole world comes to a stop pretty much when you're behind guys. I was behind about 6 guys mid pack and they all literally just stopped on the track. I had to go all the way around them. Loading screens are longer than commercial breaks on tv. If you're in a battle with more than one guy, the game glitches up.

MES is friggin awesome and is VASTLY superior to anything we have ever been offered in a SX or MX game. Not even close. Milestone has given us so much more in their first attempt at SX than we have ever had. I often think people forget that we've never got this level of detail and content in a console SX game. Not even remotely close!

Fully licensed and full authenticity, real riders, perfect looking replica bikes and gear, replica tracks and stadiums, proper scale, 22 riders on gate, proper speed, proper shifting, great cameras including a great 3rd and 1st person view, separate braking, a need for throttle control and brakes. Plus qualifying, heats, semis, lcqs, mains, full points series, career mode, full customization, replays, bike tuning that matters, freaking track editor with the ability to run a champ series incorporating your custom tracks with the official ones,, no exaggeration in jumps, speed and scale, decent competitive AI, a beautiful and detailed look to every rider, bike and track and fun yet pretty realistic ganeplay with believable physics and superb ground physics and decent air physics..

The game is not perfect and yeah they need to fix the glitches...though I've experienced only 1 thus far...and I have a small list of improvements but it is, in my opinion, THE best SX game ever by a long shot. And I feel I can say that confidently after a few hours of play.

MES fanboy or not....this game absolutely rocks and destroys what we have previously got in our sport, game wise. Just my opinion, though.

I'm also super pumped most are loving the game. I was a bit worried it would be a little more arcade than their previous MX games but I think it feels right much more realistic than MXGP...which is great! Exceeding my very high expectations. Smile

Can't wait to be done tracking and spend time with Wife and get to play some more tonight!!

It’s a great game huge improvements! The glitches and bugs will hopefully get worked out it just sucks that you can’t ride a factory bike anymore like you could in mxgp. That is the worst part for me.

I am still trying to figure out how to mod my bike in Career mode lol. When I click custom bikes it gets rid of my sponsors and takes me back to a bone sock 450 to mod. I have a feeling this game was rushed so it could be advertised during SX season....

Do they not hire testers for these games? Once you're out racing, the game is really fun. But the start is so glitchy, the clutch is useless, there's upload issues, audio issues, loading issues.. all little things that should have been seen during any kind of testing. They first unveiled the game in October. That's a lot of time to tweak.

Ralph just said I was never a factor in the race after leading all the way until last half lap... maybe it is more realistic than I thought..

The loading time is maddening with everything you click. I'm going to grow old waiting on this game. The glitching and lagging isn't far behind the loading issues. The game looks great though.

Reflex vs Monster Energy.......swing and miss for Monster Energy.

Mine crashed on Seattle too. 250 West. I restarted the series and it went right though.

Are there only two physics settings? No pro setting?
2/14/2018 4:39pm
For you guys struggling with starts on manual shift, the bike WILL shift in to first gear before the gate drops. You can shift it clear to 5th if you wanted before the gate even drops.

I employed the same tactic on MXGP3. Hold the clutch and front brake simultaneously, and hit whatever button you use to shift up. You may feel the controller rumble a slight bit, or just blip the throttle to see if you're in gear. I only got 2 rounds in last night, no assists, medium difficulty. Even though the clutch slows you down during the race, it doesn't seem to have that affect when used on the starts, it really just comes down to good timing. My game glitches right before the gate drops every time, so it's easy for me to time based on that.

I prefer my method as it feels like a more realistic start, not just a pin it and shift to first right when the gate drops but everyone has their own style.

I just played an online championship and it was pretty fun, but 3/4 races were in a fucking monsoon and rainy was only chosen as the weather once.

I was having zero issues, then all of a sudden wham. No audio for bikes. Restarted the Xbox and tried again and nothing changed. Now It is saying Milestone servers are down and I am not able to get to the track editor etc. Uninstalled and reinstalling as we speak.

The AI on realistic isn't hard in the 450. Finished the 450 career today and the only problem is to pass them and not get taken out if you get a bad start. It does seem that they're faster in qualifying but they're not what you could consider fast there either.
