Here we have an example of an ex-racer seeing an issue in the sport and taking it upon himself to do something about it...in an organized and professional manner. For now the focus seems to be on track safety, but I wouldn't be surprised to see THIS effort eventually morph into some form of rider's union in the future.

Good on Trey! He's had lots of experience, unfortunately...and a heart for others. I hope this company breeds a lot more concern for rider's rights and them not being taken advantage of.

I hate to be negative nancy because i also want safer tracks. But i cant imagine the AMA paying an outside company to make their tracks safe.

Well I believe Feld is working with him this upcoming SX season to make things safer where they can. I have a hard believing he's doing it all for free but maybe.

The first sentence. I couldn’t help but think that’s what Jeff Alessi thought when he started the fire storm he did lol I wish Trey much success in this endevour.

I doubt its a huge debt. I mean whats the overhead? Plane ticket, hotel. He is basically going to evaluate the track, talk to the riders and if there is enough riders that think somethings sketchy bring it to attention in hopes they will knock it down.

It appears he worked at the Straight Rhythm by the photos. This is a much needed addition to the sport. It's a great starting point, of course there are many more goals a group like his could help with in track design alone. Keeping the rider's on the track should be a primary goal for promoter's, fans and teams.

The trickle down effect of Pro racing to local racing can't be overstated.
