Well, yes.

If you can buy bikes as nice as this from 1980 and before for less than they cost new, buy them up quickly. You're likely to make some decent coin reselling them.

$1,800 today would be about $505 in 1979. I guess a new YZ-125F would be around $1,100-1,200 back in 1979.
Less than 1/2 price for a used bike with inflation figured in... lol!

U.K. list price for a 1977 YZ125D was £720.00. A '77 RM125B was £785.16.

Why TF should I remember those exact prices when I can't remember someone's name two seconds after being introduced...?
