Nice Hut! ^^! What a great representation of good people helping out a moto brother who’s respected by many. (And if I know Manny), someone (Scottie) who wasn’t really asking for any help. Nice job Vital. Love this place!

Pete, I'm a bit overwhelmed with a lot of things right now and that complicates things a bit.
What I can do is wait till Wed. and if someone else wants to donate the $450 and confirmed
by OCScottie, I'll send it to them with your approval, or it goes out to you.
So you and Scottie get to figure out where it's going.
Thanks for being such a great guy.
TM
I understand fully, it was a very generous thing of you to offer up the Hauler. You can leave the offer up here as long as you'd like, hopefully someone will take you up on it.

Just did the paypal for you. Sorry I wasn’t on email yesterday. Thanks!
Great, Jeni, thanks.

I've just forwarded the proceeds of the Yamaha works team jacket to: ocscottie@hotmail.com, PayPal account.
I'll post up a screen shot.
Jeni I've sent you a mail. Please give me your house address, so I can get the jacket sent off to you, with tracking to your door.

Looking forward to seeing the pics of the new van Scottie!

It is very inspiring to see the Vital network step up and help a very worthy person in need, no "gofundme" requests- just Manny seeing a friend who could use some help.

The Vital MX community stepped up and made it happen. Awesome.

A couple of days ago All jacked Up offered up a Switch Hauler® to someone who would donate $500 to the cause.
PETEGRATH most generously made the donation. But Pete was not done! Pete offered to leave it up for another member to make a donation of $450 to OCScottie. That includes delivery to your door in the continental US,
If you've been considering one now is a great time to get one. I can think of no better place for the funds to go!
Again, for those of you that don't know what a Switch Hauler® is,
MXA did a "team tested review" and basically said it was the best carrier they've tested.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrlMCQxHVCY
If you've been considering one, now is a great time to do something good!!
We'll leave this up till Friday or till someone steps up and makes the donation to claim it.

Coming back to this thread reminds me that living the moto lifestyle is so much more then ripping around the track. The family that comes along with the caos is amazing and great to be around. Hope you get that van quick OC, you da man.

Yea, she was starting to get calls from people wanting it, so my awesome dad stepped in and snagged it before anyone else could. Hopefully once all the payments are final im good and can pay him off, its gonna be closer than i thought, i didnt think about transfer tax, reg, ins. and then the service it needs. (smog, rad hoses, belts, a ball joint, oil change, service etc etc) So we are not quite passed the finish line!

Still need to get my CDL so i can drive it!! Here is a pic:

Sweet! Being such a big van plan on doing ball joints and tie rods often.
Maybe somebody on here closer to ya can hook you up with the work it needs. Ball joints (usually) aren't too hard, and the rest is normal maintenence stuff. If not, you can probably find someone that'll do it cheap. Local community college or high school shop class. Buy the parts you need off rockauto.com if you do some googling you can find 10% off codes. Rockauto sponsors a lot of forums and gives a discount. Explorerforum.com is one of them.

So do you really need a cdl to drive that? Hell I was driving trucks over the 21K lb limit here, never had a problem. I only got a class C

If you put quality ball joints and inner outer tie rods in it, drive that bitch like you stole it for 200,000 and don't worry about it even for a second.

Why the hell would you need a CDL, it can't be considered a commercial passenger vehicle? And there's no way it's over a weight regulation.
You got me on that one Scotty ... Blink
