I don't get people complaining about "overjumping issues" in milestone games. Try letting off the gas through the face of the jump. If you go to a pro outdoor national there are plenty of jumps that those guys run pinned to the face of it and use their momentum & scrubbing (not throttle) to put them where they want to be when they land.

Am I the only one here? I just don't get all the fuss. I feel like some people want the game to play itself for Gods sake.

There are jumps on a lot of circuits in MXGP3, especially on the 450, that have to be let off on the face. That takes more skill than a jump that you have to hold pinned to clear

Has this been posted?
No Grant or Tomac by the looks of it, a monster energy game without the two biggest monster energy guys in the sport, weird

There has been a lot of talk, but this is the first actual confirmation I have seen in here. That's a real shame.

Yeah, it must be politics with either Eli or the Factory Kawasaki team. Very strange as the Pro Circuit 250 team are all there. Not that big of a deal, though. Always nice to have everyone but having 98% of the field is quite an accomplishment.

Sounds like Barry Bonds.
Sucks for Tomac though that he won't be included. Kind of a snap shot of the era and he's left out.

I know this is a Milestone thread but the MX vs ATV team have said they have the biggest rider roster they've ever had. They still have announcements to make. I'm not saying Tomac or Grant will be in All Out but there's a chance they could be.

As for the bigest rider roster they've ever had I'll just say I'm not an idiot. They have 3 different disciplines with MX, ATV and UTV so it's not that difficult to see they'll have a lot of different playable characters.

As for Tomac & Grant not being involved with the official supercross game it's a little odd considering who their main sponsor is but it's not the end of the world. It would have been nice to have both of them be part of the game but I'm sure there's a good explanation behind that decision. Hopefully they'll eventually let us know the reasoning behind the decision. Can't really see it being a Monster issue so it's either the rider's or somehow the team's decision.

Exactly. Got to be Tomac or the 450 Kawi team. I always would like all the official riders but we've never had nearly as many as this before and honestly I'm not a huge fan of either so no big deal to me.

One thing I am super glad to have is 22 riders at the gate. Plus the full race day formats with qualifying and all the night's action in it's entirety. That is amazing to have. Both are things we have NEVER had before in a Supercross game.

I'm not much of a Tomac or Grant fan myself so it's not a big deal to me but I still find it odd.

As for the whole night program of qualifying, heats, etc. It's cool and all but I don't need it. I go straight to the main from the heat race Cool Seriously though if that format is somehow implemented into the online portion of the game it's going to make things really competitive for those who play online. That could be very cool for online championships.

Ok, guys. Some news on MEC. And this is not confirmed. But what I am hearing is that it we will get the 2017 MEC as DLC. Much like we got the SMX cup for MXGP3. Milestone were there scanning, of course, and that it will come out later as DLC. That would make sense since the event just happened and they would need a bit of extra time to incorporate it into the game. Again, not confirmed but what I am hearing.

Just thought I would share that.

The Tomac thing isn’t a big deal, even Madden is missing Bill Belichick (greatest coach in history) and Sean Payton (Saints coach.) Has to be a similar situation where Tomac just wouldn’t sign off.

who gives a shit if ET is in the game or not, what i want to see is some info on the track editor and what tools will be available. is it going to be a grid with pre-made jumps or will the individual jumps have sliders to make them broad/steep/shallow/etc...

Maybe since the MEC will be DLC, it’s a possibility Eli and josh will be apart of that DLC.

I mean.. maybe.. But that message posted a few posts above made it sound like there's no chance they will be included in the game at all. That's just my take on it.

More info on track editor should be coming in December.

Not sure why ET3 is out, but it could be as simple that the 450 team declining the distraction focusing on the championship. Then when it goes sound, probably not the right time to say, Hey Eli, I know you are pissed, but can you twirl around while I scan you.

Hey MXON wasn't a Monster requirement, he said fuck off to that, what makes you think if its not a requirement he'll say yes to a video game.

I’m not doubting his work ethic... but man ET3 does NOT go to any extra lengths for his fans. No MXoN, no video game, almost seems like if it’s not forced upon him, he’s opting out. Just think it’s kinda lame.

Again, not doubting work ethic and he doesn’t owe us anything, but you see riders like Musquin, who raced every single race Tomac did this year, continue to race into the off season with no issue.

Agreed. Ever tried to get Eli to sign something? Def not the most accomodating rider on the circuit. Who knows whether that played a part in this or it is just politics. No big deal either way to me.

Just wait till eli bows out of the mxon at red bud this year like Matthes has been saying. I’m sure he wanted money or something for the game. Not sure how politics would come into it, the other monster sponsored teams are a part of the game.

So Eli don´t want to be in MXON or mx games. Wonder is he doing this only for money not for sport or just for fun.
I´ll bet he is quitting mx quite soon.

agreed.

I saw eli nearly jump down a young fans throat telling him "no" when the kid asked for a picture. really caught both of us off guard. hes obviously badass on the bike but doesn't seem like a very nice guy.

If anyone ever played MVA Unleashed on PC and used that Track Editor, that would be perfect for this game. Use the analog sticks to move an obstacle, one to rotate, press a button to make the obstacle bigger or smaller, one for taller or shorter, that would be amazing. But even if it is a grid style cookie cutter, I'll still be pumped. I had a blast making tracks on Supercross Circuit.

You might be right but this last summer I was lucky enough to watch the race with John Tomac and Eli’s chick at glen Helen. Super nice guy, didn’t mind talking about mtn bikes, the old days, and Eli’s 2017 season. Wonder if John was the same way when he was racing?

i have no problem with any rider not being involved, i mentioned earlier in this threadd that a while ago ufc fighters all had to sign a clause that denied them any compensation for their likeness being used .

it seemed like a super unreasonable request being made by a company, but if you're a mma fighter, ufc is the only show in town (meh, bellator and some other offshoots, but it's like being a pro football player but unable to play in the nfl)

one ufc fighter, jon fitch wouldn't sign and he was cut , a nice show of force considering he was the #1 contender at 170 at the time.

....

guys want to be paid for their likeness being used. people are making money, why shouldn't a rider a taste?

its really hard to give everybody a piece of the pie and have it be worthwhile for the game maker though.

w/e. my career rider will be a green machine mounted #3 in black gear....named eli tomac. haha

11/5/2017 2:15pm Edited Date/Time 11/7/2017 2:52am
I would think Tomac not being in the game has to come down to the team or something as there is no indication of Josh Grant either.

Let me spell it out for you...

The difference is that if you overjump the shit out of something in real life, there are negative consequences often resulting in a loss of time.

In these shitty games, unrealistic overjumps are often advantageous therefore requiring you do to them if you want to be competitive in online competition.

I can understand that part of the "overjump" issue. I see where you're coming from. Thanks for spelling it out for me.
