Where Jimmy absolutely does deserve all the credit in the world is with his riding. His performance on that 98 CR 250 is by far the most entertaining riding on the track and, again for me, the highlight of the event. Phenomenal skill to go as fast as he does on such old technology (of course it's tuned up nicely, but still...). I also think he does some good for the sport there in perhaps encouraging those younger riders with less money and older bikes etc.
Not a massive fan of the Ronnie Mac character, but I can see why the motocross demographic is. I just wish Jimmy would lay off the homophobic stuff.

RM and the two strokes were really the sole appeal of RBSR to me.
I've made a lot of money acting as Ronnie flat tracking, the mental advantage and forward momentum from giant balls carries greatly
That event had the worst field ever, it was like watching NFL scrubs during the strike. If it wasnt for Ronnie and the 2 stroke challenge...I would not have been able to watch it as it was I didnt make it to the final, they might as well have put Marvin up against no one.
The AMA screwed the pooch with the rules while losing credibility by stealing from its members. Crooks and thieves, milking money from the oem's, members and the sport while doing nothing but fighting helmet laws and contributing nearly a million dollars to a frivolous pissing match lawsuit with AHRMA. They were so late to the table for the lead law fiasco that they had to squash the 2 stroke 250's in the 250 class and 250 2 stroke in the WMA classes. Like either of them had anything to do with the lead law. Anyone remember that?
