As a Brit I of course wanted team GB to do well but you can bet your ass i was rooting for team USA too as I’m a HUGE AMA fan!!! I was even lucky enough to meet both Seely and Osborne I was like a little kid again meeting my idols I couldn’t believe it when I bumped into them in the paddock! :D 24 but felt 12 again. Racing was awesome.

Hold your head up boys, we are very proud of you! Thank you for taking time out of your short off season to keep training and represent the US.

Congrats to team France, GB, and NL. Its awesome how you see guys really step it up for this race no matter how their season has been. A lot of good rides this weekend.

As a Brit I think all of the US should be proud of those guys,no matter who you all thought should go,these 3 guys stood up to be counted and gave it all they had,
They might have been called a B team or C team by some "fans",but when it mattered and the so called super stars let you down by choosing to stay home it was these 3 that stood up to be counted for you,the odds were against them and still they flew across the pond to do the USA proud
Standing trackside I think they did just that
The race is in the States next year and these 3 deserve to ride for Team USA again

I also want to thank Team USA. All three gave their best and are great racers. Without the US-Team the MXoN would be not the same exciting race.

Hats off to our team for stepping up and representing our country. I'm proud of our guys and congrats to those on the box. Shit happens, but we live to race another day.

By the way, congrats GB! Max had the race of his life and Dean killed it as always. Great showing from those guys on their home turf and well deserved.

Always been a huge Cole fan, bummed on his mechanicals. Wonder what kind of damage Cole would do with a year at the Baker Factory? (I know, I know, unicorn dreams and not part of this discussion) Zach-O reminds me a bit of Magoo, WFO and only thinking about getting to the front, impressive.....

Critics easily forget that it was just "nightmare in a mudder" and most riders were on survival mode. They just had the worst day from A (gate number) to Z (shock twice) and it could have happened to any big team. They did a good effort and they will be much more comfortable on home soil.

Zac, Cole and Thomas had some bad luck. All looked sensational in practice and qualifying but mechanicals hurt badly, like Tommy Searle end with fried clutch in Moto 1 cost us Brits 2nd place but on the podium with Max Anstie double moto victory was on a par with RV's domination at Budds Creek 10 years ago or Stefan Everts Matterley Basin performance, back in 2006.
Atmosphere was electric trackside, fans soaking wet but cheering their hearts out.
I had an expo of 10 years of my artwork up in Skybox Gold VIP restaurant meeting many US fans and corporate clients.
Budds Creek MXDN 2018 will be off the scale.........
