USA or GB are my picks for the win. Obviously France and The Netherlands will be up there too and could definitely win.

Bit of a pipe dream but I say Canada gets top 5! Slim chance in hell but I am hopeful!

GB for the win as it looks like it could be a mudder.

Heavy rain forecast all day Sunday.

I'm French but I won't say there is one favorite but this year and maybe for the first time I think there is 6 potential winners:

France
Great Britain
USA
Netherlands
Belgium
Switzerland

And there is some outsiders for the podium too...

Canada
Australia
Italia
Germany
Puerto Rico
Spain

My pick for the win though goes to switzerland. Matterley is exactly the type of track they race on in Switzerland. Tonus and Seewer are very technical riders, they are very good at keeping a lot of speed in mid air, and there is a lot of big jumps there. And Guillod, well it is one of his favorite tracks and he is back on his favorite bike. Last time we saw him ride the 250 at Matterley he won the GP ahead of Herlings...

I would keep an eye on Gajser too. He is riding for himself this weekend and to me he's had his easiest win last year on this track, with a perfect weekend setting the fastest lap in time practice, winning qualifying and both races.

Kaido I agree with most things you said but having Canada, Puerto Rico and Spain as potential podium finishers is a stretch I think

Yes, not good...
From what I understand, MJF had riders chosen, but they declined to go, saying that they wanted to focus on the Japanese national series, which hasn't finished yet...

Seewer just won the ADAC masters, was he on a 450 as he beat Nagl etc?

Yes he was. And he would have gone 1-1 had he not crashed with a lapper.
He also won an ADAC round earlier this year on a 450 (without Nagl on the line though).

Well Switzerland can definitely podium or even win if all 3 riders catch a good day and if they have a little bit of luck.
They can as well finish 7th and it wouldn't surprise anyone I guess. Seewer has made lots of mistakes on the 250. The 450 forgives a lot less. Tonus will probably be solid. But we have no clue how Guillod will be - will he really be better on the 450? Matterly has been good to him in the past

I can see Graeme Irwin getting a top 10 in at least one moto. He's very fast and he definitely isn't scared to push. Should be a good weekend for team Ireland

1. GB does it at home
2. Netherlands
3. France

Although even with injury its difficult to bet against France. They are on a hell of a streak right now. It's kind of been France and then everyone else.

Graeme Irwin has been dominant in the British championship this year. He should be easily top10. Martin Barr is always solid and 162ey always excels himself at the nations. I'm hopeful.
