I knew it wasnt a full on PC bike, but they had some input for sure.

Fully built Pro-Circuit KX-125 It was built for James Stewart and rode by him when he was riding In the 125 class has his initails on the bike and the stickers on the forks has his last name on It's certified for the ama till 2009 the jug Is engraved with the mechanics name and date from maintance like I said everything Is Pro Circuit. The only thing Is I was rideing the bike and It stopped running so I took the jug off and the ring was froze to the piston but the cylinder wall Is fine It only needs a new piston and ring I know this cause I seen for my self and I had a guy that races dirtbikes and builds engines look at It other than that the bike Is In great shape the bike was valued at 60,000 cause of James Stewart riding It and It would take between 15 & 20,000 to build the bike I have bill of sale there Is no title because It Is a pro bike and when kawasaki builds bikes for pro riders they just record the # on the bike to know which one they gave them like I said It just needs a piston and ring everything else Is perfect I will take 3500 for the bike as Is or best offer no bullshit offers though you can come by and look at the bike for yourself and see. You can contact me at (727) 214-4550 or at (813) 325-7098 or E-mail @ kamokidd3@yahoo.com

That bike is legit, but it wasnt from when he was pro. It is one of the bikes he raced in his last year at LLs.

PC didnt touch a thing on James bikes, they were full factory bikes. The same when RC was racing 125s, they were full factory Kawasaki bikes in PC graphics.

What I emailed him:

"I'm very interested in your KX125 on craigslist. Is it possible to get some closeup photos of the parts with James Stewart's name and such as proof of it being his bike? I'm a collector and would be willing to pay more than the asking price if that is what it takes to have an ex- James Stewart KX125.

Thank you for your time,

Terry"

Just what I was going to say. All it needs is a new "jug" and voila! Instantly Stewart's bike.

I wonder if anyone is dumb enough to buy that thing for $3500.

Does the AMA just hand out those frame tech inspection stickers to every wanker that posts on Craigslist?

This is sad. The guy has to be a kid? I'm trying to picture him as an employee, but I have some problems to see the right kind of work suiting his skills?

Ok, got another email from him which I responded to:

He said:

"Hey hows It going did you receive the pics"

I replied:

"Yes I did, and thank you! Do you have any more details of the history of this bike? It's kind of difficult to decipher it's heritage with just a few grainy photos you know? I'm still interested in adding a "Bubba" bike to my rather large collection (which includes bikes ridden by riders such as Rick Melon, "Bad" Billy Robinson and even one that Johnny O'Hannah himself owned in 1986!) so any more information you can give me would be greatly appreciated!"

Yours in collecting,

Terry

Don't all factory bikes get the vins scrubbed? I also thought they were destroyed after use also but not sure.

Regardless if it was James bike or Jesus Christ's for that matter, it's stilll a clapped out P.O.S. and isn't worth a couple hundred bucks.
2/23/2009 6:52pm
Yea, its easy to get an AMA tech sticker. Its easy getting a PC suspension sticker with the RIGHT settings and spring weight from Stewy amatuar bikes. Those PC team seats that werent made to the public were easy to get to huh?

The guy selling it is a idiot and it didnt cost no 15gs to build that bike but it is one of many that he used durring his last year as an amatuer.

Saying all that I wouldnt give him 500 for it because it is a wipped pile no matter who owned it.

Factory bikes never get a vin number and yes factory bikes are destroyed.
