Wish that Herlings joker would hop on the redeye and sneak over here for a round. I'd bet RD could even scrounge up a bike for him to use.

He's busy trying to win a world championship. Would be good to see him school the yanks but would be easy pickings compared to mxgp this year

Easy pickings? Last time I checked Tomac went 4-0 against those GP guys last year and cooper Webb also beat Herlings straight up. There are a handful of "yanks" going faster or just as fast as Webb and Tomac at the moment. I think both series have some fast riders that could win in any series, but saying that Herlings would "school" the AMA 450 class is a really silly thing to say.

I think his results would certainly get better if he had a few rounds to get in the groove. He's been consistent in Aus but his history for consistency isn't great, I just hope he can get through the weekend without incident and finish both motos.

I would have thought he'd gone over there at least a week ago...surely travel fatigue and jet lag will play a factor?
I was sure he said on social media that he was gonna head there straight after the last Aus national before the break..
