That gear looked awesome in a magazine but even more so in person.
I wouldn't ask my best friends that I've known since kindergarten how much they make or how much they pay individual employees, but it sounds like there's a few folks on here that don't mind the sliminess of that sort of thing.
Sports that publish salaries are quite a bit different.....
Roczen and Barcia were swinging their d***s around publicly on twitter about who spent the most money. And those guys have been around a while. You think when all these guys are partying that they aren't spreading the word about who's making what? So if you're involved in that social scene or work for any of the sponsoring companies you're going to get a feel for the ranges.
And on my average-guy end of things, I don't care what one individual is making, I want to know ranges for different levels of riding. It's part of the sport and it's really interesting.
Personally, I don't think these guys make squat for the level of expertise they have in their profession. When you consider they pay for their own health insurance, lawyers, agents, trainers, practice mechanic, practice track, quality food, and a million other things. They don't net very much.
