If I were team green right now I'd be hiring who ever is available that can make the main for Vegas..
I mean, it is a team sport and always has been right? It's been going on for years so that makes it right, right?

With all due respect (which is none), shut the fuck up.

Grant was right in front of Tomac leaving wide open passing lines and Tomac couldn't execute a pass, then came up ass short on a triple and put 7 seconds between him and grant. Did Marvin go out and punt Tomac off the track? No. He let his teammate/friend/training partner go by. Tomac having more teammates wouldn't change shit if he rides like piss again, or if the teammates aren't top 5 guys....just how Grant had no impact on Dungey's finish last night. So unless you're suggesting they get a "hired gun" to punt Dungey off the track, it wouldn't make a difference.

Don't be ignorant.

Some of you are acting like Tomac rode awesome and was cheated out of a sure victory. Why don't you spend your energy focusing on why Tomac had a mental meltdown instead of pointing the finger and blaming others?

Kawasaki should hire a mental coach. Eli just seems to freeze in high pressure situations

This. Eli started thinking instead of riding. It's happened before.

Kawasaki should place a lot of blame on their manager. Grant should have been made aware he was 1 position in front of Tomac. He probably had no idea because he was 7+ seconds out. Them kawis should also have electric start. It's a joke that they don't.

Place blame on Eli and team kawi if they don't win the championship. Don't place blame on Dungey, Musquin or team KTM. They did exactly what every other team and good teammate/friend would have done.

I think if kawi had some faster riders it would help. It doesn't help that KTM has half the top 10 + husky riders. Kind of like when MM was going against Martin for the title and Martin had Webb. Marvin had no one. Tomac has no one to get in between Dungey.

The KTM and Husky riders have been very professional for several weeks. They have had plenty of opportunities to race Eli rough, if not punt him off the track. They never did that. More Kawasaki riders does nothing for Eli.

Also, Grant was riding around and even glanced back at Eli. He left wide open passing opportunities. Eli was too busy imploding to even pass Grant who was ready and inviting Eli to go in front of him. Grant did everything except stop on the track.

This is all on Eli and more Kawasaki riders would not have changed anything last night. Maybe in a tight race maybe. But Elis problem is not tight races. It's self immolation when the pressure is greatest.

Who could they possibly hire that could come in and beat Dungey?

My thoughts also. This probly won't happen but somebody like Hill who is allready champion in the 250's could ride a 450 in Vegas to "help" Eli i guess.(for as far this even would be possible bike wise / team wise etc etc ...)

If Kawasaki truly understood what they're up against, they'd have done what you're suggesting already.

Grant gave Tomac plenty of opportunities to pass him last night. Tomac choked, brain froze, had a minor injury, panicked, had bike issues......etc, take your pick. Either way he finished way behind the one guy he HAD to beat. And for Musquin letting Dungey by, I've seen it happen at local fair races in the C class. A rider helping out a teammate, friend, title contender is nothing new.

I'm not defending Tomac I'm simply defending the idea that this is not a team sport. And I'm not trying to insult anyone. That would be ignorant with all due respect

Sooo. If it's not a team sport, and dungeys teammate helped him by letting him by, and no penalty has been levied, what would you call it? Team sport seems to sum that aspect up pretty good. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

Pull Emig out of the booth too. He's good at keeping a rider behind him.

You're right about Grant and Tomac. Grant wasn't exactly turning hot laps, but Tomac never seemed to be able to close enough to actually execute a pass. Grant wasn't gonna just park, because he's a veteran, and he knows how to let a teammate through with professional style. But there's only so much room on a Mickey Mouse Supercross circuit, and Tomac didn't (or couldn't) do his part.

When Tomac first came up on Grant it looked like Grant looked over and was getting ready to allow Tomac to pass, but Tomac never got close enough to him for that to happen.
