No one is expecting him to go balls out, ride completely over his head and crash. Just show some fight. He was tied in points with 3 to go, it's still well within his reach to win another title. Just try and do something​ to knock Eli off his stride a bit. He doesn't have to t-bone him or try to break his leg, just at least stick a wheel in. When Eli passed him he literally just followed right in behind him in the same line and just watched him ride away.

Dungey is riding like he doesn't care. He doesn't even try to make a block pass on Eli. And that is why he went from 29 points up to 3 down. Well he should be down more if not tomacs 15th at Dallas.

I don't think there was a response by anyone the way he was riding I dont think you can respond because you're just not going to get near him anywhere on the track, the way he rode was like the riders were just another obstacle from letting him go balls out once he got past Dungey he was able to be at his pace again.

Some riders only know one way is to go as fast as possible at all times otherwise they arent comfortable, being on the gas for guys like RV/JS/RC/ET3 makes their riding more smooth and less energy taxing they go into flow state, all riders have had huge crashes and injuries so yeah sometimes it can go wrong so to say they "hanged it out too far" as none of these guys are riding over their heads just it's just how they ride getting the most out of the bike as possible.

Also Ryan Dungey is a rare breed it's rare for a top guy whos won multiple champions to rarely crash or have an injury, the way Ryan has been riding the past few years the competition has zero room for a DNF.

RD5 is trying, that's his riding style. It would be so stupid to wad and possibly mangle himself for no good reason and literally within months of retirement and also right before the outdoor season. I don't know if you guys have ever tried to just flat ride past your point of abiity, but I have and I ended up in the ICU. It just doesn't work.

There is not a faster SX/ MX rider on the planet, nor has there been for a couple of years, than ET3. Literally the only human being that can beat ET3 on a dirt bike, is ET3.

And lastly, all reigns come to an end. And RD5 has been a FANTASTIC representative for our sport. It's been a great few years for the sport.

RD5 has had fewer injuries than a freakin' pro ping pong player. Really just an ideal career that anyone would be envious of.

The only things I'll remember from this season are: Eli threw the championship(choked), Marvin threw a race(literally) and Ryan rode as the second, possibly third, fastest rider consistently enough to win a championship!

This is just what I will remember, it's not a lack of respect for any of the riders.

Agree on the first, the second will be forgotten because it will likely be irrelevant in the end, the third has always been Dungeys M.O do enough to come out on top at the end.

What Marvin did is insignificant if Dungey wins the championship by as much as 4 points. If he wins by 3 it's freakin huge. What Eli did was choke like hell regardless.

On another note, I wonder how Marvin will stack up against Eli and Dungey outdoors?
