any showa settings input? Seems the kawi 16 and 17 have different suspension. Just coming off a 2015 kx450f.

Download the Showa app on your phone. It will at least give you a starting point for fork settings. It also allows you to mess with the pressures and see how they each affect the fork. It's pretty cool.

Congrats on the new bike!

Your wallet can't speak very well ..
"Spoke wih my wallet"
Does your wallet speak pigeon english?
Does your wallet know that wallets only speak 2 stroke?

Congrats to you, I'm a bit envious, but I'll be okay, I think. Great bike.

Umm...no you didn't! You bought a foopter, not a 2-stroke.

Got to get about 45 min of break in time at rocky hill CT MX
much thinner, lighter, and "electric" feeling then the 15. Turning the thing was a dream compared to the tugboat feel of the 2015. The forks and shock were great, still need to really throw some time and laps at it. Had them set up like MXA for a pro (im a 200 lb VET B rider). Riding a new bike is a always great.. was breaking in a new bell flex and tech 10s as well so great day but alot of new newness. this weekend will be better tell of the bikes feel. But very very pleased and felt like a best version of all the kawis I have had so far.

power was very smooth and clean. i have had a 11 and a 15 and now a 17 kx450f and it gets smoother and easier to use. I had full fmf on my 15 which woke it up a bit... the 17 seems like a more usable version, pulled forever. I was breaking in so i didnt really hammer it.
