Your about as fool of shit as they come! New to the sport? 2015 RD was not even close to the 2014 RV & Stew! Neither of them were racing in 2015!

Whoa vital tuff guys in full force. If you think guys get slower your delusional. "New to the sport"? Not by a long ways keyboard champ. 2011 Dungey and Poto gave stew fits. You think Stew got slower? Nope the competition got faster. You think Dungey is slower now than the Dungey that ran with stew in 2011" nope. For real though you tools that have to go straight to insults instead of countering with a intelligent response, lose all credibility right off the bat. 10 year ago stew can run with guys now?? With your logic Reed is slower now than he was 10 years ago.
Funyun wrote:
Are you saying Reed is the fastest hes ever been right now?
If 12 reed would race himself today... He would have held himself up instead of dungey. Then he would have put himself in the cheap seats for being so damn slow! Oh btw everybody gets faster every yearWoohoo

Eli would win. Stewart was a flat track bully. He either destroyed weak opposition or crumbled. RC proved that if you pressure him he panics and wads up. That's why he only won outdoors once when his main comp was Alessi and he dominated 24-0.

Not to mention he was juicing in 2014 when he went from the back to win. Got caught and banned by WADA the month after. Never won again.

His entire posting career is something negative about JS7. He's a delusional little man, with some strange fascination with JS7. It's kinda sad but best to avoid him.

Eli's corner speed the last few races are at a completely different level. It's insane how much speed he is carrying. I believe that is the main difference now, between him and Dungey.
I was going to say the same. No quads to catch up time, just corner speed and whoop section. Go back and watch the last 3 rounds, clearly the fastest rider through the corners.

But to answer the question on the thread....

Stew 07 c'mon guys. Did anyone attend these races in 07 and the ones today in 17?

Lets be real, I would watch those races nervous because I was convinced someone should not be able to go that fast.
Eli is very fast currently but the eyeball test tells me STEW 07

Eli, Dungey, or Roczen at the beginning of the year would destroy the RC, JS, or CR of the mid 2000s. And it's their own fault, Elis new level is because of them. Bob Hannah at his peak couldn't win a B class local race today and that takes nothing away from his greatness. Watch MC in the late 90s, he'd struggle to make the main today. Again, not a knock on his greatness at all. Those of you that believe that JS7 10 years ago was going as fast as Eli must also believe that every other rider in the main at Toronto was going as fast as every other rider in the main at SLC. That takes a special kind of goggles.

Second to last all the way to first, this one was pretty hard to watch for me since im a Chad fan and he was gone, somehow James started to do all those crazy jumps and it was over, even Chad couldn't do one of them all the way for one lap...
The way James opened up the track and stretched out sections was incredible. Actually Seattle SX was a lot like that. Eli was hitting sections like a mad man.

The greats are a special breed, they'd be great no matter what era you could drop them in....JS7 and ET3 would be bad mofo's in the 70's same as MC, Hannah, DeCoster, etc would be bad mofos in the 2010's

Sorry, but have to disagree big time on that

Those who say Carmichael... Bruh i could out run him in my nikes thru the whoops so nope lol and MC come on! He was way before his time and a pioneer of the sport. But no fn eli, poto or stew speed lets be real

One race? James. Three races? RV or Eli. An entire season? Ricky. That red-headed freak had a mental fortitude matched by no rider in the sport's history. RC competed in 17 major championships, winning 15 with a combination of raw speed & the ability to get deep inside the other guys' noodle.

Ricky was the perfect blend of speed, fitness, desire, and guts.

Thank you Randy perfect point. There's some inconsistency in comparisons. The point I'm trying to make is at the very top level. Look closely at what Eli is doing, how he jumps through the take offs of jumps(Roczen started that a couple years ago)and how he loads up his suspension to create traction for the turns. His momentum everything he does is a continuation of the greats before him. And only the very best at the time are doing the things that will come naturally to someone like Forkner in 5years. It's just progression it's hard to beat, the sport is relatively new and the bikes keep getting better.

Eli was just as dominate as u could possibly be last night no doubt... I believe stew in 07 and poto in 13 are probably the only guy's to reach that level... What are ur thoughts??? (in supercross)
MC won 13 straight in SX in 1996 and RC did the same in 2001 nobody else has even come close.

Yes and do remember what he said? Not an exact quote but close.. "I haven't got slower but everyone else has gotten that much faster"
No way over the course of 10years guys get slower. If we take all these guys mentioned and they were all born at the same time who grows up fastest with all same equipment.. Probably stew but we'll never know.

James truly did things no one else would ever think of trying and pull it off. I really do miss the guy.. I often wonder if he would have kept racingg and didn't do the whole sx only tv gig and stayed focused. It was pretty impressive what he accomplished when he was not distracted. Pure talent. Sad to see him fizzle away like he has

Eli is faster at everything...not just corners. Faster in the whoops. By a lot. Faster/deeper entering corners. By a lot. Faster just down a rhythm section.

As for Stew at his best vs RV at his best, vs Tomac at his best...who knows. They were all at the LIMIT of what a motocross bike can do. One difference is RV and Stew ran many many races at that level. Tomac has run a half dozen. If Tomac rides at this level consistently for 2,3,4 seasons...

Considering the lites times are pretty close to the 450 riders, I have a hard time believing Reed, RC, and JS of 05 on their smokers would get beat by a Davalos, Hill or Smith. Go watch some of those races if you want to see corner speed.

I would have to go with Stew. The dude is just pure natural talent. The shit he has pulled off is unreal. That wall jump at Daytona that year. RV was like fuck that! I do think Tomac would of hit that.

Well we could go by what JT$ said a couple years ago after watching Tomac destroy everyone by 1:31 at GH....." I never seen anyone ride a bike that fast before ....ever! "

Now that Eli is getting some what close to his normal self.....Eli FMOTP 100 fucking percent!

Anyone think the speeds of RC or Stewart from 10 years ago would match , or even come close to what Eli , Kenny and even RD are doing now?

Please send me some of that shit you're smoking. I'm sure I'd have a blast with whatever it is.

Clueless bastards.
