Okay, my girlfriend and I will be in NYC a couple days before the Supercross this year. Last time we did tour buses around the city, and hit a few highlights (Top of the Rock, Central Park, as well as seeing The Book of Mormon).

I'm trying to see Colbert one day. Who has other suggestions for must-do things this time around? Ready...go.

Trump Tower, located on New York City’s prestigious Fifth Avenue, is a true New York icon. The 68-story mixed-use building, designed by prominent architect Der Scutt, houses some of New York’s finest residential, commercial and retail spaces. The Trump Tower residential and commercial spaces offer sweeping, panoramic views of Fifth Avenue, Madison Avenue and nearby Central Park.

We went by there a couple years ago...probably before he'd even declared his candidacy. I'm sure it'd be a you-know-what show around it now. Smile

I thought China Town was pretty interesting when I went. I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't already. Haven't been to the new World Trade Center, although I was at the site of the old one in '02. I plan on seeing the new one on my next trip.

My wife and her sister have gone to NYC a few times , they always have a blast in china town ,the people working the stores take you in the back to where all the good deals are. DVD DVD DVD ,you can stock up on your favorite movies as well.

If you're artsy, MOMA (Museum of Modern Art) is interesting. Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty tour?

If you find yourself around Hell's Kitchen, stop in Molloy's Pub and tell Stephen I said hi! Get a shot of Jameson while you are there too! Win!

Or try O'Brien's Pub on Times Square. Not as cool as Molloy's but they serve Jameson there as well!

See a pattern here? lol

Walk across the Brooklyn bridge and eat pizza at Grimaldi's. Best pizza I've ever had and it's cool to see the NYC skyline from Brooklyn.

Also, go to the observation deck at the Empire State Building. Really cool view of the whole island from up there.

Don't pay the extra $20 to go all the way up... Not worth it.

I heard there is a place with incredible soup. Word on the street is you have to behave in line though.

Seriously, a WTC visit is an option. Also, I guess it wouldnt be possible to see SNL live with the race schedule, but you should take the tour of the set. If you've never been, you'll be surprised about the size.

Radio City is kinda cool to see in person. Macy's is too. Wooden escalators and all.

Good call on Colbert. I did the same when I was there last year.

The World Trade Center memorial is something you should definitely visit if you didn't get a chance last time you were there.

If Grimaldi's in Vegas at The Venetian is anything close, then it's fantastic!!!!!

Never been to NYC, but I'd imagine that I could spend a whole day in Central Park, and a whole evening in Times Square.

Gotta take a random ride on the subway, and maybe the Roosevelt Island tram. I hear they have a decent theater district- might be a point scorer with the GF.

I like the idea of the Brooklyn Bridge. We haven't tried the subway yet, so that's got possibilities.

She wasn't as hyped on the idea of the World Trade Center memorial, but I think it'd be worth a visit. It's close enough to Wall Street and the Fearless Girl statue that I might be able to talk her into it. Smile

Ellis Island and Statue of Liberty are good ideas, too.

Shots? Hmm...we usually save that for Vegas. Smile

Skip the Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island trip. Not saying it's not a good experience but this time of year the amount of time it is going to eat up just to get there / get back with all of the lines will put a huge damper on the experience.

Pretty entertaining street shows in lower Manhattan too.

If you go to wall st. make sure to rub the Bull's balls.
Supposed to bring good luck/wealth.

Not sure that's true but it makes for a good picture. Laughing

Lots to do in NYC.
But when you get over all the tourist stuff try:

A: Take her for a walk on the Highline. (bring your cameraWink )
B: The Morgan Library.

NY public library is a must @ Bryant Park.

Have a great time!

Take a trip to Little Italy and get some amazing food, hand rolled cigars, etc. Best food in the city is there.

We're staying not far from the Highline. She'll probably check that out while I'm at the stadium on Saturday.

We've got tickets for Kinky Boots.
Still waiting to see if we get in for Colbert on Thursday (early).
Looks like a bike ride in Central Park is on the agenda.
Also the walk on the Brooklyn Bridge.

We'll fill in other stuff from there.

If you go walk across the George Washington Bridge, there's a high chance you'll see a jumper. Have the camera ready!

One of my favorite things to do in NYC is board a train that will transport me back to NJ.

Things I like that are inside the city:
- S'mac
- A new play/finding little known music venues
- Jane's Carousel and the parks along the pier can be quite enjoyable with the right weather.

You could go by the 420 Jason Lawrence museum and see if there's going to be a comeback tour.

I think that ship sailed a long time ago.
