For years I was one of the few Reed defenders here against a sea JS7 fanboys, this was before Reed became popular in his later years and people jumped on the CR22 train. I lost a ton of respect for him last night, nothing to do with being a Dungey fanboy. It's very doubtful it did anything to change the outcome but it doesn't matter, it was a dickhead move that will hurt him more than it hurt Dungey. Bed made.

I didn't say I lost all but I lost a good chunk, and I'm not sure it's coming back. Nothing sensitive about it, as of now Dungey doesn't deserve the title. He's got 4 races to prove he does.

Reed won everyone over that year (2011 I think) he started his own private team and started kicking ass on his 22 Honda. Surviving that epic wreck (Millville) only made him cooler.

Reed had the talent to win those 3 titles despite being quite the partier. He was faster that Carmichael. Just not as focused. Probably shouldve had 6+ titles.

So much like Bubba, fans respected the immense amount of talent despite not necessarily living up to potential.

Some see 3 titles (of what shouldve been 6) and say the glass is half full.
Others see 3 titles (of what shouldve been 6) and say the glass is half empty.
Oh well.

He had to race against arguably the two best riders the sport has seen for the vast majority of his career. Stats don't always tell the whole story

I lost respect for RC. When asked for his comment during the tv broadcast he had the worst, most PC comment ever. Sorry for butchering his quote, but it was something to the effect of "Reed sure was in front of Dungey". Massive face palm. Geezzus, just speak your mind RC, you are the GOAT after all.

Somebody complains about Reed, a slower rider, trying to take out their front wheel in a 3rd gear whoop section. Then, Reed responds by getting lapped, blocking that person, rides to the tunnel like a little bitch and that makes him the tough guy? I'd disagree with that type of thinking. Nothing said off the track affects the racing unless someone lets it affect their mental game. Fucking up someones race as a lapper does affect the race. People can like or hate "shit talking" but the fact is, it's off the race track so who cares.

Actually reed passed dungey, they had some good racing, Reed was protecting the inside as he knew dungey was gonna cut him off if he didnt. It was good racing, nobody got hurt or cut off. Dungey decided to run his underwear up the flagpole on national tv. His remarks were uncalled for on that platform. He should have talked to chad, the ama, his team but uncharacteristic of him he decided to trash talk to the world. Clearly this is why reed did what he did. I am not saying reed is right. They are both wrong as is the case with almost all conflicts. In the end if you think it effected the outcome of the race you are mistaken. This is ET's championship now and he will do whatever it takes to win it. Dungey has noone to blame but himself. Btw i am no fanboy. I like both riders.

Dont play dumb. RC ushered in the PED era in this sport. Maybe Reed has one too many skeletons in his closet to go all Alessi and just start publicly bashing RC, but if Im RC, I dont test Reed's patience that's for sure.
