First and foremost, no this isn't my bike. No, I don't know who's it is. No, I don't know shit about CR 500's. No, I don't have a clue if this a good deal or not.

Super cool. I dont think ive ever seen a non professionally restored bike from the 80s that nice. Really good build.

Throw some supermoto wheels on that bad boy and head to the roadrace track. That's what I did roadrace school on back in the day. One sure way to make a bunch of 600's riders cry when you go by them sideways.Cool I'm so old I did it with a dirt track set up though. lol

How did you come to the conclusion that that bike is "non professionally" restored by looking at one picture?

That right there is a beast, the 500 two-stroke is still a little fear-inducing. I'd love to have it just to fire it up and blip the throttle... then go ripping down a fast, smooth stretch of dirt.
