Has anyone else seen these?

Handmade Suzuki RM 85 with aluminum frame, 2 radiators, carbon fiber gas tank, carbon fiber air box. Pretty trick bikes and apparently you can buy these things. Made in Italy somewhere. Has anyone here seen one in person. The guy currently only builds 85's but this year he plans on building 125's.

Which brings me to the following question. Can the 125 he plans building be the same one that has been floating around the forum as Emil Weckmans 2018 prototype bike? Looking at the side shrouds and rear number plate they look pretty similar to the RM 85 above. Could this simply be a handmade built 125 or is it the rumored 2018 Suzuki RM 125? What do you guys think?

That made me laugh.

Maybe he can have one of those Suzsuki RM 85 shipped to TEXAS. "Kid's" been on the 85 for what now 5 years?10 years? Pretty sure it's time to move up to the 450 Tyler.

Sweet bike, but I would rather buy a TM if I was in the market for an exotic "handmade" bike from Italy

Emil's bike is RM125 engine in RMZ250 frame, no prototype there.

The plastic from the pic I posted appears to have different shrouds and number plates than the RMZ. It might appear that way simply due to the fact that the pic is blurry but it does look like they have the same wheels so it might be the same bike. Different pipe?

The RMZ/RM 125 AF is this one

Clearly looks like a 250 rear end with 450 shrouds.

That one yes. The other one at the top not sure. Could be. Either way doubt it's the 2018 prototype some are claiming it is to be.

Thanks. A lot better pics this time around. That's definitely just an RMZ/RM AF 125 build. How old is this kid? Looks small on that bike.

Judging by his profile pic I'd have to agree with you. Aren't things always bigger down in Texas? Lol.

Can't remember what thread he posted in but he was looking to upgrade to a new 85. Probably one of those 2018 Suszuki threads. His must be on its last mile.

Looks ok but Finne beat me to it. I'd go for the TM if I was buying a 85.

As far as I know the pipe was handmade.
The silencer a Yoshi yes.
Here's a better look at the RC4 RM85 from the Everts and Friends event.

That silencer looks like a BUD racing silencer.

I have a copy of Dirt Rider with a 85 shootout from 2016 and the TM was the most expensive 85 and finished dead last in the shootout, even the RM85 beat it.....lol

It went 1st KTM/Husky, 2nd Honda CRF150R, 3rd YZ85, 4th KX85, 5th RM85 and in last place TM85.

I'm going to pick up a tricked out 2017 YZ85 for my son from one of my buddy's this summer. I can't believe how fast he's outgrown his Cobra CX-65.

I kinda like the furry kind. I think this bike is the best looking bike of any brand, any size. It is clean looking and just looks right.

They definitely used a BUD racing silencer. Maybe Yoshi Commissioned somebody to build them one a pipe because they are pretty much a 4 stroke only business.

Its a shame the USA rules dont allow cool bikes like this.

When FC can field a full works 150... it would be nice for guys to make trick low quantity bikes instead of being required to produce it by the 100s...

3/3/2017 8:11am
God will you goons just give up the ghost on these two stroke prototypes. Local dudes building local bikes for some local kid to ride at a local race. Except it's in "Europe" therefore you think its direct orders from Japan. Sheesh.
